a tip i would suggest if u are reusing parchment paper is the iron the paper flat b4 placing it on top of the perlers to get any creases out of the paper and also make it easier for the perlers to melt, if u have creases in the paper it can lead to those creases imprinting onto the perler design and u don't want that happening.
@fatboydoug you don't have a video on how to create your own Excel template. Can you please create a video. I am going to EDC 2020 for my first time and want to go all out lol
first time using kandi and perlers I wanted to know can you use pony beeds to make perlers meaning will it look the same/work when you iron it together
My boyfriend is a raver but I am not, would it be okay to gift him a perler necklace for his birthday? I just want to make sure it's not weird or anything that it's coming from someone who isn't part of that culture.
Lilliana Ramirez do itttt!!! You could make his fav sports team logo or his name or his fav car or so many things! I make them for everyone raver or not! And if he is a raver and you know his fav DJ or festival you can google a template or check out perler patterns dot com they have lots of them! Good luck have fun and share it once you make it!!!
Make sure you spend time ironing them slowly so they all fuse together. And some patterns will just be more easily broken than others. Try not to leave space in between or have sections that stick out too much.
Great question! I’ve left one bead open towards the top so that you can string a pony bead bracelet or necklace through it. Or you’ll have to carefully poke a hole large enough after it’s completely melted and done.
Love the video, I'm a mixed media artist so I see so many possibilities with this, not just for kandi (which i'm really getting into) but also as a way to "paint" pictures. Thank you for sharing. Got yourself a new subbie
Quick question. Couldn’t you put the template under the peg board instead of counting them out? Love this perler btw. Its so cute! 😋 can’t wait to make some of my own.
+Rachel Hawkins That would only work if the printout is sized to the pegboard. Unfortunately my printout doesn’t necessarily match the pegboard. But that’s an idea for a future template! Thanks!
This is awesome! I love you and your energy and your videos and cannot WAIT to meet you at a festival one day soon babe💜💜 thanks for the tutorial I LOVE making perlers and want to try some of these. We have so much down time now so no better time to try and Experiment Than rn right?
Link is in the description of the video :) The link isn't pasting properly in this comment, but it's in the description - look for Nerdy Panda Template a little further down.
Only a few minutes for the whole thing. You should press down slightly (not too hard) and glide over the whole board evenly. Don’t lift the iron up until the beads have melted. If you lift too early, the unmelted ones might come up and then your pattern will get messed up!
