Love this interpretation. Played calmly. Not rushed. Like a calm, but sometimes turbulent waterfall. The notes are clear, clean, and confident..a waterfall.
I love this interpretation- calm, unhurried and very poetic. So many pianists rush through this piece, which is surely meant to be a dreaming river not a torrent.
When listening to ths piece, I often hear the performer neglecting some passages as if they are eager to get it over with. This interpretation, while a little slower than usual, puts an enormous focus on display, each note being treated with care and dedication. Congratulation to the pianist.
Sublime and literally out of this world!! What have I just heard and seen, if not pure perfection??? I know this piece inside out, and this pianist has exactly the right level of dexterity and subtlety in her rendition of this very ethereal melody. She managed to capture, understand and render Ravel's mood like... like nobody else. I'm just speechless!!!
Absolutely sublime!!! I heard every single note! And also, this slower pace gives more hope to me, because I physically can’t play this one as quickly as others.
Spot on.. impressionism isn't about speed, but about conveying images.. perfectly done. There are a good many pianists who've turned this into a romantic almost lyrical piece.. Otlichno!
Very beautiful and in the other hand it didn’t need the “water game” feeling at all. Just enjoyed the whole piece going on and I think this slower piece is one of the best played
gorgeous playn . she is a good exemple that speed is not the main goal. i have an exam coming up and i will definitelly look up to your exemple and prioritize the clarity and musicality. THANK YOU
I searched for Tiffany Poon, but found you. I'm glad. You are precious, playing so clearly. Thank you great, don't stop. You are amazing. I believe in you ❤️
For us weekend amateur piano players, when I got to the hands cross over section, is the "oh shoot" moment. Too difficult for me, let the professionals play it for me.
Too slow. I can’t get that delicate “water” sense that is so essential to mastering this piece. It sounds too mechanical. GREAT effort for even attempting this piece though. It’s tough.
+ I W..playing it slower does not make it easier .. her playing is clear, precise and very well articulated. No blurring at all as you often hear in faster versions.Very good and considerate use of both pedals. She plays it beautifully.
No existe el registro perfecto ni la nota equivocada. Una representación genuina solo puede ser dada por el creador de la obra y a lo más, por el interprete que logró la primera impresión. El resto son ejercicios. Así que no se complique, disfrute cuando quiera.
