Ravel is truly one of the most genius composers of all time, the fact that he could even imagine a piece to be played with as many notes, runs, and techniques is incredible. It might be possible for a particle to "repeat" actions that aren't his regular state after being taken action excessively, making pressing itself possible. This is insane! I was sweating during the whole finale. For those who were not familiar with the piece, I encourage you to listen to the orchestral version. I wanted to ask you if you would consider playing 'Alborada del gracioso' some day, but thought it would be asking too much. And then you post "La Valse" and Liszt piano sonata in the same week.... !!! You're a great pianist, and it is always a pleasure to listen and watch your performances. This is truly an amazing piece, and ABSOLUTELY my favorite classical piece ever! There are some “scary” parts that I personally find more depressing than scary, in which I absolutely love. And there are also the beautiful parts, like 10:18, which sounds like something that would be in some kind of romance movie. And then there are the insane parts, like 11:26, which makes this piece even more amazing! Bravo Traum, bravo.

Traum is clearly his pseudonym. He seems to be a Korean pianist. I am going to put my guess as Yekwon Sunwoo. If so, surely a video of Hamelin's Tocatta "L'homme arme" would be sweet to see.

@@randommathstudent2875 Sunwoo has studied in Germany, so it lines up, among a couple other things (i.e. Sunwoo has performed La valse, Traum's channel shows up around what might be Sunwoo's end of the 3 year mark of career management provided by winning Gold at the Van Cliburn competition [though Covid may be just as likely], Korean in his Facebook posts, similar skin tone and lack of noticeable blemishes, also wears all black at concerts, etc.).
