A lot of people are saying it seems like she hates this interview because it reminds her of her painful past but truthfully, I think it’s the fact that she’s mourning the loss of that innocent little girl. She’s being reminded of the trauma she’s faced and likely internalizing the loss of her innocence.
Yeah definitely... She was young and innocent now she seen the dark side of the world she works in... You definitely can see it in her eyes when she said you got a lot ... Her eyes were closed but that was her trying not to cry
She instantly started rocking back & forth and side to side. Its a soothing thing we do when something traumatic pops back up and makes us uncomfortable.

That was trauma from her not remembering. That’s a tell tale trauma response. Sometimes the mind blocks out things that are so traumatic to protect us. I hope she can heal now.❤

I’ve talked to my younger self in my mind, and have told myself how it’s been and I’ve also tried to tap into my future self to see how it’s going and I got some mind blowing information as I wrote down everything I was feeling.

I went to school with her and she's absolutely beautiful inside and out. She was always so, so nice to me and probably the only one bc I just never had friends. A very kind soul.

She was 3. That's why she doesn't remember. She didn't have a bad childhood. Adulthood was bad,because of rumors of her being gay. Also,she has a breast condition, they don't stop growing. So,she continues to get reductions.

She basically was forced to get 2 breast reductions before 20? And was constantly told that she was getting fat. I think that's just the surface of it, she wasn't able to be a kid
My heart goes out to her for her brother... I got the pleasure of meeting him and her grandmother... At the end of my semesters I couldn't go home directly for like 2 years and I would go to Jackson,MS.. To her grandmother's house... Respect.....
Still watching her in the Cosby show to this day. I remember I use to get home by 4pm just to watch That’s So Raven on Disney Channel back in the early 2000’s. Good times 😊

She says she doesn’t remember it but she jumped right in when the younger her says “But everybody call me Symone’. “ I think it came subconsciously because she’s buried that trauma . This shit has to stop everywhere. The fact that Hollyweird gets of on abusing children and the other politicians helping other countries children and not putting the same resources and laws on to help or own is crazy.

We must also help other countries not just ours. Yes, we do need more done here, but by no means are you correct in thinking that means don’t help others. We are stronger together than separated and all going for self.

Unfortunately if you don’t keep your kids as close to you as you can…. You will destroy them … even as you think you’re doing what’s best for them. So many kids lives ruined in hollywood. Raven has gone through some things .. she looked triggered & sad at such a beautiful & loving representation of what she saw the world as when she was young.

I am so sorry 😢she went through all the horrific things she went through this industry can be sick sometimes especially when your parents don’t keep an eye on you all the time. Be careful who you trust with your kids and don’t leave them alone with just anyone.
For those who wants their child in the industry. When they want to separate you from your child, ie auditions bookings ect. Dont do it!!! If your Dr cant be in a room alone with then dont let a stranger do it. I was a model and actress. Their are alot of evil people out there waiting for desperate people looking for fame. Be safe and keep your eyes open.
Exactly..I practiced that with my daughter after my dealings in the industry..only once did that but she went in with a group..I also prepped her and was honest..
i dont think we see as many child stars in general like we did in the 80s and 90s . if you look at new shows coming out theyre largely targeted toward adults, cartoons for the kids, not alot of live action sitcom type shows featuring children anymore. or music groups featuring kids. correct me if im wrong . glad to see it though. kids have no business working and wasting their whole childhood
Just a few years ago as a grown woman I worked on Fear of Walking Dead. Director gropped me then when I put him in check he was appalled that I was speaking to him directly...lol. I was let go the next day. Did I care? He'll no! Hire me for my talent or leave me the hell alone. Remember you can be famous and broke and broken down. It's not worth it.
It actually made me feel sad for her you can see in her eyes she went thru some things. And she had to laugh to hold back her tears. Universe got her ❤
I hope she writes a book about what happened. I loved watching her but as I got older, I realized a lot of child actresses and actors suffered through so much abuse at the hands of people who were suppose to protect them. You can feel the pain in this short clip. 😢 she is healing and still as radiant as ever.
She’s so hard on herself and for no reason. All those people who told you you weren’t good enough were wrong boo. Most of them were projecting too! Don’t criticize yourself harshly. It does nothing good for you, it only hurts you.
I can see she's smiling through the pain, it's actually kind of sad. Nevertheless its nice to see her in a good/better place and still being able to muster up some kind of smile. She seems like she found a way to create a joyful life despite the wounds we can't see.
I remember first watching Raven-Symone when I was a teenager, and she was on the Cosby Show. She's been through a lot over the years from the things I heard and remember. You can tell from her eyes and what she's not saying it's affected her deeply.
