I don’t mean to disrespect or sound callous to the Victim’s families . In fact , hearing the sobs break my heart . But I can understand why the black community were for the most part supporting OJ and celebrated the verdict . No , two wrongs don’t make a right . I believe for black people , it was more about getting an affluent white family , and “Main Street” white America in general, feel a small portion of the pain the black community experienced for centuries. By a racist and corrupt justice system. This was only 2 years after seeing a group of white cops walk away after being recorded on camera , taking turns beating and stomping a defenseless black man . Not to mention centuries of racial injustice . Hundreds of thousands of wrongfully convicted men and women by all white juries and judges . Especially in the Jim Crow south . With the lynchings. Police officers making African American and white civil rights activists disappear. Mobs of white people , including white women and children, along with police officers, beating, lynching and burning black people to death. Without any repercussions. Women and children being some of those victims as well. Black children being wrongfully convicted of murder and executed. (Suggest you read the story of George Stinney. Or Emmit Till’s story. Take a good look at that open coffin photo at his wake) . I totally understood the anger. This verdict gave conservative , Christian, white community a punch in the gut. They got to feel a fraction of the pain African Americans have felt about the justice system for centuries .
Black people disconnect logic and replace it with emotion in every circumstance. That won’t ever advance your community. Everyone’s tired of your victim mentality.
What you said was a lie that you clearly astrotruf with 20 alternate accounts. And you wonder why bl@ck Americans are in the dumps and the most r@cist people in America.
I remember being in high school, bell rung to switch class, I get to my next class and luckily it was a teacher with a TV in class and the verdict was about to be read, about 100 kids from other classes crammed in to watch the verdict. I remember everyone was a good 20 minutes late to their next class and nobody said nothing because it was such a monumental moment.
Doesn’t mean he thought he was guilty. Just may have been he was shocked a black man got off for allegedly killing a white woman. That at the time and a great deal today was unheard of..
Mrs Robertson was so articulate with her readings in court but she botched his name with the most replayed verdict in the history of the planet...my guess is she was stunned what the verdict was as she was reading and almost said Orajel (the toothache pain medicine)...instead of Orenthal..
Would you wanna be known for being on that jury? Don't think so. Wonder what went thru OJ's mind before the verdict was read. Had to be awful anticipation!
@@thestonedabbot9551So sayeth the so-called father who doesn't believe in AN EYE FOR AN EYE. If blood is really blood, what would you do about your son's killer still being alive?😅❤
I remember watching this live, and standing there in stunned disbelief when I heard "Not Guilty". And it's just as sickening hearing it today, as it was all those Years ago. That Cold Blooded Murdering Scumbag got away with taking the lives of Nicole Brown & Ron Goldman, NO question about it!
@@gameshowguy2000 Come on did you see the way he tried to put on those Gloves, hid fingers were spread all the way out. And do you REALLY think he would just slide them right on & wave at the Jury? I guarantee his Lawyers told him whatever he did DON'T put on those Gloves, and if they didn't, they aren't very good Lawyers. And one more thing, if you base this case on him trying on the Gloves you OBVIOUSLY didn't watch this trial like I did. Also, JUST BECAUSE YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS DOESN'T MAKE WHAT YOU SAY TRUE.
I was a junior in a Philly HS (so you can imagine the demographic). All classes stopped and the TVs in each room were turned on. There was massive cheering in the auditorium that was next to the classroom I was in.
I didn't cheer when he was acquitted, but I did in 2005 when Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all counts. Now that was a joyous day. I wouldn't have been able to stand the idea of him suffering in prison.
@@Flirri Yes... but I didn't hang out in many courtrooms in the 1990's, but banks in the 1990's had 3-4 cameras pointed in various directions. I would assume the same would be true in the courtrooms, especially in L.A.
I wonder what things kardashian told his wife Kris about the case and if he believed that OJ did it. He looks like he can’t believe that OJ got away with it
You know something? The judge can tell the audience not to react emotionally or loudly all he wants, but people are going to react as they feel about it instinctively. This is obviously true of the family members. What are you going to do? Have the family members arrested for having feelings? I know he is trying to keep and maintain order, but that works only to a certain point. The feeling inside that courtroom in the moments before those verdicts were read had to have been so thick you could have cut it with a knife! I am not sure if I would have wanted to have been in that courtroom that morning, especially with the Goldberg and Simpson family members breaking down like that when the verdicts were read. A very heart wrenching day indeed!
Oh that's baloney this comment sucks. Because we know we're all going to go to the same place eventually so what's the point of even commenting that something that eventually is going to happen it's like saying we're eventually we're all going to have to pay taxes and that is a judgment LOL
You sound ignorant, this man lived to be 76 years old, God gave him a long life and if God is the judge, then why are you judging? If it does not fit, you MUST acquit PERIOD! Meanwhile George Zimmerman out here living his best life... let's talk about that!
One of the happiest days of my life. I screamed with joy along with so many other Americans. Finally Justice was not for Just Us but for everyone. Well done Jurors ladies and gentlemen of the Jury ! Well done !!!
It's true, he shouldn't have been found guilty for this trial. However by the time the civil trial rolled around there was new evidence, and that's why he was found guilty.
@@mattchew83 so what? are you saying that only black people would look at the case objectively, and say there was way too much reasonable doubt (like.....the lead detective pleading the fifth for planting evidence)?
I am truly wondering if, now that OJ Simpson is dead, if he by ANY chance left a "tell all" on how he did it, why he did it, who helped him, etc, now that he has nothing to worry about. Not that he had anything to worry about in the first place because I do know that even after the verdict was rendered, he could've said he did it & how he did it, & he couldn't be touched criminally. But anyway, just wondering if he by any chance did.
Whether he did it or not, we shall all die one day. Let us put our accounts right with God and our fellow men 🙏 May the souls of all those who have died rest in peace 🙏
He didn’t steal he said to the courts that people had stuff that were is. So I took matters in my own hands basically and done it myself with my entourage and got my stuff back. But because it was recorded someone set him up record him behind his back and there was cameras in the hotel building he got caught and went to prison for it. He even admitted to it and even said I only wanted what was mine.
I thought O.J. was a monster until I heard about the two goons who murdered Ahmaud Arbery here in Brunswick, while a third documented vital evidence on cellphone video. At least the 3 were convicted of their crimes.
Rest in peace juice .. black people love and trust u man ...the best acquittal of all the times . best running back ever .. the juice is loose 🏉 🏈 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Even after his death I believe it was only his popularity that saved hime from the hardest possible punishment. I never believed him. And they speeded up during the verdict "jury number one: is this your verdict?.....number 7 is this your verdict?".....Simpson smirked and smiled before it was handed down. He must have known that nothing might go wrong. It's a shame. But that's the way it works. If you have money, usually you have nothing to fear.
It was the lapd that jacked up the case. Even Alan Dershowitz (one of O.J's attorneys) said that O.J got lucky because of how bad the lapd messed up. The prosecution made the mistake of going forward with the evidence the lapd presented to them.
Wrong they were told by his lawyer disregard all what that heard from the government about the OJ killed two people. Kim was there everyday at the courthouse daily. With her stepmom too.
The guys family was mad their brother and son was murdered but was driving a married ladies husbands car and his wife had different men jn a house he paid for
@fightgamer8311 court filing stated 10.8 million and a monthly income of 50k a month. He was paying 25k a month in Alimony plus 4k a month for Family food as dictated by the divorce court. Chris Rock- " Not saying he should have done it, but I understand"
No pity for the many innocent blacks rotting in jail! One alleged man gets away and now the justice system needs fixing. Fix it for all the innocent blacks set up who died in prison. Free OJ
JUSTES FOR NICOLE AND RON!!!!😢😮. STOP DOMESTIC VALENCIA TOR WOMAN !! AND YES IN TO THAT COURT TAKE more seriously MAN WILL NOT STOP KILLING WOMAN!!!! Is sick 😢😮😢😢
