Just one correction tho, any stripped or chemically processed hair is no longer virgin hair only if its steam processed to get a certain pattern. Other than that is chemically processed. 🙂
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I constantly explain this to people. "Virgin" isn't "Raw" I'm tired of seeing these hair reviews from people who are less than knowledgeable of hair extensions. Happy to see someone who knows of what they speak...
Of course true Virgin hair is raw hair. The problem is that its often labeled as Virgin when its not. Also not only Temple hair is raw or Virgin hair. Just part of the Indian hair is actually collected in temples, the rest is bought from donors just like anywhere else in the world where hair is collected. Raw hair is collected in many, mainly Asian, countries.
That's incorrect. Raw hair is the only hair that is unprocessed and mimics the hair as it grows out of the scalp. It's harder to maintain and it's more expensive.

@@adenise676 I was responding to the commenter. Raw hair has not been processed. It has been washed at most. It normally comes from only donor. The ends are fuller and the cuticle is intact. It's frizzy like our hair and thicker. It cost more because the bundles are thicker yet there's more you can do with them. With proper care can last up to 5 years. Virgin hair has been processed whether steamed or chemically. It can contain hair from multiple donors. The cuticles are smoother and usually the ends are tapered. Sometimes they're destroyed during the processing of the hair. Remy, Brazilian, Peruvian, etc., are advertising gimmicks used to sell the hair. Straight, yaki, body wave, kinky curly, jheri curl, etc., are texture types that the hair can be manipulated into during the chemical process. This hair normally has a strong smell and lasts up to 3 years with proper care.

You are wrong .. the reason there are diffent length hairs in it are not because they come from diffent people it’s how many times it was drawn through the Hackle .. 1 st draw very mixed length 2 draw 1 to 2 “ difference 3rd draw all one length
Good tips! Raw single donor hair will also tend to be lighter on the ends due to sun exposure. Another good tip in spotting raw vs virgin is the shine. If its too shiny or resembles barbie doll hair its not raw and has been treated with silicone. After a few washes or heat exposure the silicone and other chemicals will wear off leaving it looking dull and dry. #lacemewigs.com

Just because you’re a brand ambassador for an expensive hair company who’s bundles start at 100+ doesnt mean other hair companies aren’t selling authentic raw hair if they have a lower starting price point. Consider different vendor prices and also the profit that the company you represent wants to make. Maybe the next person is new and hasn’t jacked up the prices yet.
yeah ,you are right ,all are for marketing purpose .Almost everyone know virgin hair is good quality ,but price is unbelieable high ,that is not suitable for mass market .Most hair on market is processed remy hair ,good quality with reasonable price .The life span is about 6-12 nmonths ,if with good care ,it use longer time .
Also the colors used on most wigs are textile dyes .. which is why most do not lift with bleach you have to use rit color remover ... you should try dipping the Beyoncé one in rit color remover since it was dyed black .. I will assume that it was textile dye
I thought of Virgin hair, as being hair, that was never chemically processed ,take for instance, if you have never had a relaxer in your natural hair your natural hair state would be considered "virgin". Assumably because it's never been chemically processed? so that's how I always thought of weaves, if a weave has not been chemically treated or any type of processing it is "Virgin Hair". Raw Hair seem to be spot-on how it was explained I have a lot to learn LOL😋
I've had my Kendra's hair since 2015... it's been bleached and dyed twice. I have NO tangling nor does it shed. April will be 2 years and I love it... but customer service isn't great and I've heard their hair is different now. I'm glad I got it when I did.

Great Video , l however your video is a bit confusing. To get a 20 inch double drawn weft you would have to use more than one donor hair. Believe me, for you to get one donor hair hair wefts, you will have to have good connection. Remember ladies About 80 to 90 % of the very best hair on the market is sold to the High end European and US hair Manufactures. Most of the hair that is consumed on the Black hair market is rated between C and D on an scale A to E ...."A" meaning the best. Please stop using the term RAW and Virgin. Virgin Hair & Raw Hair are same, they are chemically Unprocessed, Uncoloured,non relaxed and all cuticles aligned in single direction. Whereas Remy Hair is slightly chemically processed, colored, permed/relaxed and all cuticles are aligned in same direction. Non - Remy Hair are chemically processed, cuticles completely destroyed with Acid bath and further dipped in Silicone to give it lustrous & Shiny effect which goes of after few washes. They are coloured, bleached, permed/relaxed and are available in different Hair styles.
Also I’m just now starting my business and I don’t think starting my hair off at 70 would be a good idea I don’t think people would buy it so that’s why I’m starting off at 55 .
