Raw Jackfruit Dose/Dosa | Easy and Delicious South Indian Breakfast Recipe | Halasinakayi Dose

Raw Jackfruit Dose(Dosa) is a thin, savoury crepe in South Indian cuisine made from a batter of raw Jackfruit pods and rice. Jackfruit dose is served hot, often with honey.
Ingredients:
1. Rice - 1cup
2. Raw Jackfruit pods - 15 to 20(adjust according to the size of the pods)
3. Salt to taste
4. Water
5. Coconut oil(to grease cast iron tawa)
Method:
Wash and soak rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. In a blender, add soaked rice, chopped Jackfruit pods, salt to taste and water. Blend to a thick smooth paste. No need to ferment the batter.
Heat a tawa (preferably cast iron tawa) on medium heat, grease it with Coconut oil. When the tawa is hot, pour a ladle of batter and spread it as thin as possible. Cover it with the lid. After 30 seconds, open the lid and remove the dose (dosa) carefully from the tawa. Serve hot with honey or Coconut chutney or with any vegetable stir fries(palya).
