Important note! Must read: Absolutely mind-blowing response on this unplanned video. 99% of the comments have been amazing to read - so many people that loved the raw format and felt very inspired from it. But apart from all the good commente, I’d actually suggest that you read the 1% of comments that are more fueled by hate and skepticism - because instead of deleting them, as I easily could’ve, I’ve decided to take time to properly respond to them by addressing their concerns - despite them being unbased and objectively incorrect statements - I still think they serve as good pillars for discussing some common misconcerns about today’s landscape & society. Thank you for all the great feedback everyone! I wish you all the best.

This man literally sat here and basically did the same thing that influencers do while acting as if he wasn’t. He didn’t get into detail into what he does besides saying online business multiple times. He used his key term “level up” and saying basic drivel - “unlock your mind”, “expand your mind”. He doesn’t go into the raw reality of his salary, I thought he was going to get in depth into his finances, but instead he sits there in front of a screen saying he leveled up lmfaoo

He shared a very legitimately useful mindset. Outside of that, yes, nothing. But that on perspective shift is all that some need to hear. It’s philosophical. People derive knowledge from all sorts of things. You clearly didn’t grasp what was offered. Im not sure if he is legit but if he was he sure doesn’t need to prove it to you. You either believe him or not.

Side note, idk if you played wow. I did, not 100+ hours on a single character, but enough. 1:26 I found it odd that he's claiming to have 100+ hours on a single charcter but then can't remember the term for a pretty big mechanic in the game. Normally it wouldn't matter, but seeing the type of character hes trying to convince us of, the, "I was a gamer too, heres how I shifted my mindset you can too, now buy my 1k course" type of character. Seeing as he was probably more addicted than I even was and not knowing such a widely and commonly used term in the in-game chat is kind of a red flag to me. It's making me doubt everything else, cuz if hes willing to lie about that, what else is he willing to lie about? I haven't played in a solid 8 years, but in game chat slang is burned into my memory, I don't see how it couldn't be in his since he played way more than I ever did. I could be completely wrong but I find it odd regardless.

Unfortunately the new entrepreneur/online business/influencer/mogul trend has become "I am the opposite, they are all fakes and I'm real." I expected affiliate links or something, I was surprised to find none in the description but was not surprised to find a video of you advertising your millions and selling a near $2,000 masterclass. It may be valuable and might even be worth that price, but nobody is man enough to say: "The best business model right now is selling the steps to getting rich." There is no business building, there is no real business. Sadly it is always this same exact thing. Being a mogul in 2021 was in, being an anti-mogul in 2023-2024 is in. It is all the same, and there is no REAL "value".

I've always been very naive and... detached from reality. As a kid (and well, I still do a bit) I played a ton of grand strategy games. One observation I find rather helpful in "grounding" myself is noticing the similarities between IRL and such games. The ways you invest into certain areas of expertise, build up resources and develop existing territories, conquer new ones. Tycoon games are also quite similar. Such thoughts help me to contextualise my life and better participate in something which I have previously neglected (acknowledging that my comfortable and secure upbringing is the only reason that I was ever in a position where neglecting life was a possibility, it's still something which has caused me avoidable pain).

Here's the crazy thing man. I've seen your SMMA videos, I've seen your IPGA videos, and now I've seen this video. What Iman is doing with his whole cinematic approach, creating a story, a villain and all that shit. It works, but it's more than likely going to attract the wrong kind of people. This video, despite a complete lack of editing or fancy shit made me feel something, because it's real. Because I also had 100s of /played days on my Horde Shaman, and I also remember having the EXACT thought you just went through, thinking "what if I dedicated this to something worthwhile" and now I'm in the online space. Please do more of this kind of content. With the over-produced shit, you make people watching feel like a number in the funnel. I read through the comments and most of it was regarding his well delivered message but if you look in the description he is selling a class regarding IPGA which is essentially finding companies that dont have a good website or one at all and providing website handling. Generally they provide basics within a website crafting service and then later offer premium services that anyone would have to pay for through the website crafting service except they claim more on the bill as the business doesnt generally know its an already made service through the website crafting.

I've read a great book called the 1% rule which touches on this topic briefly. It's because usually in f.e. games you see fast progress whereas in real life you don't. Your brain wont directly connect the success of something you did 2 years ago. Therefor it takes more dedication and effort to keep going. All it takes is patience and resilience and most of us don't have it.
@Starkk-ic9cj

Right on! Patience has prolly been my savior and my first real change in my life for the better! I’ve been more calm, focus, even content on a day where I’m not exactly leveling up (anyway you take it), not worrying about anything in the future as much as I used to(as life isn’t always instant progress/change). All because I have been staying more patience in circumstances that I would have otherwise be fed up.

This is a critique, because I think that this concept needs more depth (I currently own 2 businesses, I don't make 500k per month, I make less and have only worked with a 100M valuation business once as a consultant). I think your idea of gamifing is corrupted. You say that the hunger gamers have can be, and I'm together with that, used to build something else. What you, imo, fail to mention is that the hard part of a real business (one that doesn't get lucky) is having something so strong that you won't leave at the hard part. You won't be making money the first years, if you are you may end up not making money later in or having a bad underlying structure that can't support growth of a company. You will have to suffer through money lost, time of your life thrown away, bad actors, taxes, taxes, taxes, losing friends and doubting your own choice - because if you grew in what is considered a "normal" household you are directed towards university then a job, everything else considered impossible. The amount of things you will face when building a company are insane, and if you don't get into it with a goal that surpasses everything you will give up at some point. The lazyness towards the social relations you currently have is a plus in this aspect, you will lose most of them but "gamers" are used to putting a game before their family and friends, which helps. So if this is the prospect, why start a business? This is the really important question which comes before the lifestyle you will have. We are generalising that gamers like to "Not" have a life and do the same thing all day every day. This is unhealthy, and as much as you can definitely "create" something with this mentality you have to remember that most of the people who do it fail. MOST people fail, I repeat, MOST PEOPLE fail. In the same way as you fail to get top rank in your favourite game. Why do you prefer starting a business to earning 80/90k with a top salary job? To give you a small prospect, most product business owners flatline around the 500-1M yearly revenue, which with costs, losses and taxes usually ends up paying you not more than 100k (service business owners get to the same amount just with less rev and more margin). Is the prospect of earning 100, 1000, 10000 times what you could earn with a salary really worth it for you? Is there something you want to do with your money that requires this amount? Do you want to change something with your company and the money doesn't matter? THIS is what you should ask yourself before starting a business. The way in which you run it is what this video talks about - but you can adapt this methodology to anything, from studying, to employment, to any form of work that gets you to have monetary gain. You have to ask yourself, are all my 24h worth this? Is my goal great enough to cover the expenses for it? If the answer is yes, then give it a shot. It's going to be the best and most growing experience in your life. Personally, I can't work for someone, and have my reasons to NEED money, so I do this. Enjoying the project and handling it my way is just part of it. One of the best and worst quotes I heard is: Do more things without knowing how they will turn out, you usually don't. Be foolish when starting something, just do it. Note: Unironically speaking, I believe becoming a pro player in a game is much harder than starting a company, because if you fail you will face much more social shame and monetary loss than if you built a business and it failed a bit after. So if you can get behind the grind of a game and actually frustrate yourself to learn even when you think you already know everything, if you can critique yourself, maintain the confidence, and aim towards a goal with no regrets then you are more than suited to start your project. Just this time you'll have the wonderful experience of actually creating something.
@coscorrodrift
@coscorrodrift 7 месяцев назад
Very interesting critique and reasoning, I think similarly. You really hit the nail on the head with the "you can adapt this methodology to anything". I think that saying "this is like a videogame" is only helpful in a real way if the similarities hold up, . For example, Alok from HealthyGamer uses gaming metaphors to talk about psychology or ayurvedic thought and teach those kinds of concepts, his comparisons make sense, then knowing Vata is like high DPS and Kapha is Tank is an useful comparison, "life is a videogame" makes sense. But if you want to compare online business to a videogame you have to compare certain characteristics to reach the conclusion. That doesn't mean i think it isn't a useful comparison, but the drawbacks you mention are way stronger points than the low-depth stuff mentioned in the video. I think some specific things that he mentioned like: ability to grind + ability to handle complex systems + the fact that the interface is keyboard and mouse and looking at a screen + ingame economies in some cases do point to the fact that it can translate into online business but i'd like to see the case reinforced and balanced with the objections you pose like opportunity cost vs job, the fact that you can sink hours into games and remain bronze, etc.
@mattiagraffe
@mattiagraffe 7 месяцев назад
@@coscorrodrift About the bronze thing, and games in general, saying that all new entrepreneurs are gamers in our time is like saying that all new entrepreneurs were kids once. There isn't enough evidence backing this concept as there is, for example, having a degree. Also, most people who are very good at games keep playing games, so it's difficult to estimate if there is direct correlation between top of one field and the other

I instantly followed you because i identified with you so much. A huge point is being introverted. I myself (an INTJ) who loves to introspect and DONT talk to random people, often see that only if im extroverted, i can impact the world. The web often just feels so confusing and its hard to spot areas where money flows, so i go back to my local surrounding and face all these systems that seem to be acieved through extroverted means only. I think the biggest problem for me is to decide to go to one niche that i have advantage in, and stick to it. Overall, action is always considered as a Extroverted thing (cognitive function: "Te").

Can we be transparent about something? I'm 30 and I've seen a lot of these types of videos and people on RU-vid for a long time now, and what I've noticed is that these ppl sell the idea of a grindset, work hard, "do-what-I-do", etc., but at the end of the day, you realize their product is just getting your emotions excited about "being successful" just like they are, then buying their overpriced class about online marketing or something vague. You then realize, you are why they're rich. And they don't do anything but sell you classes on how to be like them, but you never will be because they don't do anything but sell the idea of being successful, and you are literally why they are rich, and you'll never be them. It's a circle of illusion that you'll never achieve unless you are okay with selling ppl a class and doing the same thing to other people. It might as well be a pyramid scheme, just mechanically different.

I'm currently making $30k-$50k per month and have a mindset almost exactly like yours. I've spent countless years on World of Warcraft and every time I tell people about what I do, I mention how it just feels like I'm playing World of Warcraft. I'm doubtful that my current "business" can scale to more than $100k per month or so, though, and $100k per month would require an amount of effort I'm definitely not willing to put in, because I would have literally no time at all to do anything for myself. I was a NEET only a little over a year ago, so I'm definitely still in the "learning" stage. Two years ago, I was just like you, thinking $10k per month would be absolutely insane and plenty enough. Now I have a hunger for a lot, lot more. I'm hopeful that I can scale to multiple millions per year, but it seems like quite a mountain currently.

That was a genuine conversation, thank you. Video games resemble our role on Earth. And I think it's worth mentioning that you are the main character in that video game, you are the hero of the story and you are the protagonist of that movie. If anyone has any doubts about whether they are the Hero of their own story or not at this point, let me remind you that you are. You're here to achieve Glory, whether you like it or not. You are here to take it all big time and change things for the better, you are here to vibrate at a High frequency, emphasis on the High, and create a life of abundance for yoruself with your energy. And your time is NOW!!!! Take on your own Hero's journey and don't ever look back, follow the feeling, the intuition, your gut knows where to go, listen to it. Be patient with yourself, vibrate high again, enjoy the ride, respect other people's ride, and look for the truth, the realness within yourself, the authenticity that Sander just displayed in this video cause it'll set you free, it will set you free from your own sufferings/doubts/fears/stories that are holding you back in ways you don't even know, and it'll reconnect you with you, with what you really are, with what your meant to be, with your purpose, with the your favorite feeling, the nirvana within your universe, and also very importantly, it will reconnect you with the power and support that you have to precisely achieve that. So, take on the journey, search for the truth, enjoy and good luck. God Bless. Have a good one, bye Thank you Sander for making this video, if you hadn't recorded it I wouldn't have be able to write this, keep going🤝

Captivating storytelling made me fall a bit for this. You must be indeed smart to leverage your smartness to make money off of other people’s backs. Like I genuinely wonder how effective your classes and courses are, and why would you claim what you do will let others make millions like you do? Imagine inventing a new great delicious KFC recipe then you go and tell people come pay only 1k$ to give away this recipe to you for you to teach others how to make this recipe. it sounds to me like a scammy business model, a typical online course idea just refurbished. But hey great video and great talk it motivated me to treat life like a video game like I always thought of it to be. I hope that you use your skills to really offer humanity something meaningful than ripping off poor people. And Im not trying to shit talk to devalue what you achieved you must be very good at this but it is rather criticism than shit talk. Good for you man.

Even though the hook of the video's title feels a bit misleading and the content wasn't what I expected at all, it was still a valuable insight. I can relate to it myself to a certain degree. I will say though, that I am now at a point where I understand everything you said in the video, but me 1 year ago wouldn't have. For people at a beginners level, it might not be detailed enough to understand it. Because they might not see the connection between the dots. I appreciate that you mentioned that you're recommending only 2 out of millions of ways one could get to 10K a month to then scale up to 500K. Because it's very problematic when people try to sell others on the "next one thing" to get rich quick. If you ever intend to provide value for people with less knowledge, I would recommend a format like Alex Hormozi uses in his educational videos. The dude is legit!
