Any tips for wheelies? Just picked up a 23 09 SP a few weeks ago and still figuring out all the tech haha. Switched LCS to 1 and maybe got 6” off the ground. Do I run TCS/SCS off also for better torque?
Honestly, I kinda suck a wheelies, haha…but that said, the lower you go with the nanny features, and the higher the power mode (I.e., mode 1), the quicker the front wheel will rise, but if you aren’t comfortable with wheelies, it’s best to do the opposite and practice your clutch-up technique, IMO.
@@GhostHammerX my 2015 fz09 I could just switch to A mode and the thing was a beast. The power curve seems a lot different/more tame now. Thanks for the info man. Safe riding
@@vsyn3rgy774 I had a 2019, and have ridden 2017 and 2015 models as well, and they are all about the same feel when it comes to wheelies, at least to my seat of the pants feel, haha.
I have videos comparing all three: stock, db-killer in, and db-killer out. There is a noticeable difference, but it’s certainly one of the quieter aftermarket exhausts. As for power, no, as I installed them all at the same time.
@@GhostHammerX Thanks for the feedback. So you reckon with the DB-killer in it's noticeably louder than stock but not to the point of drowning out podcasts/music?
@@tactiiczz4764 no problemo! Oh, and for what it’s worth, I had the gain set to 5, which seems to be too high. I did test it first and it seemed fine, but obviously I was wrong, haha. I will try it on 4 next time.
