Yes we should definitely be hearing about the subject of abortion from a older white male catholic bishop who has zero involvement with women or women's issues. But what about all the times they molested children, did they care to talk about those issues?

1. The Catholic Church is mired in the Middle Ages (circa 1500), a time when the Church taught that God is our judge and everything was about avoiding sin. 2. Meanwhile, the reality is that God is our Father and as with any father, God loves His children wholeheartedly and we do not need to earn His love. 3. The Catholic Church chooses its leaders (like bishops, cardinals,) based upon their compliance, not their intelligence! 4. Presently, young people refuse to involve themselves with traditional churches and are dropping out like flies! 4. Young people refuse to involve themselves with issues from the 1500's which really don't affect their lives and really don't matter to them. 5. You are not going to convince young people that decisions about how many children they should have should be left in the hands of the Catholic Church.
