Now that's the kind of interviews we like, bring a brother in, talk about non hockey stuff. How many times can the players echo a stock answer to a redundant question?
How can you not love this guy. Someone to look up to literally and figuratively. Also all the siblings were interesting interviews. A great idea and theme night. Well done everyone at Oilers HQ.
You can see Vinny living the dream at the moment, he knows how many chances the average hockey player gets in an average hockey players passion in a league of stars
Thanks for the great video. I remember when he first started to play for the Oilers. I liked him from the start. And love that he is getting better every game. Nobody pushes him around and he has shown that he is not willing to put up with any crap from other team. Great to see his brother there with him. Love to see more of that.
These shared, roots/bonding experiences are incredible! Everything seems to be coming together; the needed coaching change, amazing turnaround & streaks‼️Our fortuitous luck with injuries, the easier January schedule, this family/friend time and the All-Star break…all before March 8, trade deadline. Even Campbell’s coming around, with a likely call up, shopping him in the marketplace.
This is a great interview!! Tough choices coming this off season. I love Vinnie but he is playing him self into a much bigger payday, and I want him to cash that cheque, but it might not be was an Oiler.
Yes, I really like this guy and absolutely gonna get paid I believe, double or triple what he's getting now, maybe more, probably not the oilers tho foegle gonna get paid as well, and then a bunch of guys over the next 2 years, salary cap supposedly going up, but drasaitl, McDavid, skinner, Bouchard all coming due sooner than later
Assumed he was with the Montreal organization, the name sounds familiar, his size was my first impression at the start of the season. Towers like him and Ekholm are vital to NHL Defensemen
Vincent Desharnais, to my untrained eye, looks really solid out there defensively and actually seems to be making decent plays. Yet another Pete Chiarelli pick that has worked out for the team in some way. Man that guy was borderline mentally handicapped at cap management and trading . . . but he sure got the drafting part right a few times.
