Rawdon Fire Station Pump Responding | West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service 

Idle closed down back in 2017 (if I remember rightly) so is now covered by Rawdon Shipley & Bradford, usually it depends on the area but Rawdon cover a large area including Baildon, Leeds Bradford Airport, Greengates Carvely & Idle now, usually anywhere else around those areas is covered by Shipley or Bradford depending on whose closest.

@@yorkshire9998 wow ......thats all changed since I was up there , I have some good pics of the old idle station and the ET that was based there in the 90s ......im suffolk based now and I can see a lot has changed, government cutbacks will cause loss of life I feel

@@stacy-qm4qqYeah lots has changed now! They were trying to close Rawdon/Otley for a site in Menston but never turned out to be! The area of coverage is quite large for both stations now and Cleckheatons closing in early next year to be moved to HQ- lots of changes being made now a days!

@@yorkshire9998 I have a friend who works green watch at Cleckheaton on the tech rescue unit , I heard they were gonna be moving , but didn't know it was gonna be so soon, when I lived up there I was 5 minutes from fairweather green station ......used to love going past there , but I hear they no longer have 2 engines now , its all getting to be a really sad state of affairs .........any ideas when the new scania appliances will go on the run ?
