The final Monday Night Raw of the decade had its moments. That is, until the finale with the wedding of Lana and Bobby Lashley. Though I enjoyed the angle with Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens uniting against Seth Rollins and AOP, and Aleister Black had a banger of a match with Buddy Murphy, the wedding segment, highlighted by the return of Liv Morgan pledging her love for Lana, was in many ways a fitting conclusion to one of the worst creative years in Raw history.

You also had Hornswoggle as Vince's son in 2007. Remember Eugene or Kerwin White? Or how about The Great Khali winning the world title in 2007. I would argue nothing has really changed. A storyline where Lana cheated on Rusev with Lashley because Rusev was asking her to have sex with him too many times and wanting a kid, stupid segments where either they beat him up or he stalks them and the Lana character randomly being revealed to be bisexual and having random, meaningless sex with both men and women for the hell of it is not a big storyline.

Him defending the storyline by saying it was good because it had loads of RU-vid views, comparing it to Game of Thrones and saying anyone who dislikes it is a basement dweller already cemented him as a loser. It's comparable to Season 8 of Game of Thrones yes but not the whole show. Its RU-vid views come from either women or gay and bi men who want to bang Rusev or Lashley and straight men and lesbian or bi women who fancy Lana not from the storyline being any good.

100% agree with Solomonster, this was the drizzling sh%ts, Instead of having the actual lesbian Sonya Deville do the angle, they make Liv do this crap, We wanted a dark character for Liv, and this is what we get. What a waste of a great potential character and story for the women's division to add a dark character. Now we have to deal with this crap for 3 more months or more with this crappy hot lesbian action angle. Hopefully this won't bury Liv into obscurity. The twitter of Sonya and Mandy say it all.

Aleister Black has been protected since he got to the company. He never gets pinned in tag matches, he's only been pinned 5 times since signing with WWE and only 2 of those being clean losses. Once to Ciampa at Takeover and once to Neville when he was still Tommy End. Besides that they've done as good a job as possible to protect him and his character, also his finish almost never gets kicked out of. If anybody in a kayfabe sense could be a credible threat to either World Titles it's Aleister Black.

That segment literally had Paul Heyman’s fingerprints all over it, with Liv as Kimona, Lana as Beuhla and Lashley as Tommy Dreamer. The problem is that the audience that Heyman is trying to appeal to is long gone and the one that is still around is demanding a more sophisticated approach to storytelling

I’m kinda mad right now but at the same time last night, I was fascinated....fascinated by all this. Man, I was LMFAO from what I just watched. I mean, this is kinda why I cherish these terrible RAW and SmackDown shows sometimes in a way because you don’t see things like this that are done all the time. You have to go out of your way almost to be THIS bad. This was a miracle of a shitty RAW right here. That final segment reminded me of something Vince Russo would create. What a mess. What a waste of a return for Liv Morgan as well. She had these somewhat dark vignettes, which looked promising, but now they roped her into this shit. The only thing that might be good coming out of this is Liv might become some kind of obsessed psycho. People were saying she looked like Lana the other week, so maybe this will lead to her having some kind of twisted turn. I know I’m probably reading more into this than WWE planned, but I try to be optimistic lol. I just can’t believe this awful storyline won’t end.

Nothing surprises me about RAW anymore. They do these stupid angles because they know people will be pissed after watching them. Jay Ward's Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon show has much more intelligent writing than RAW has had all of 2019. I fear the angles for 2020 might be even worse.

Rusev wasn't getting revenge on Lashley, he was getting revenge on Lana. It makes sense why Rusev would hide in the cake and crash Lana's wedding, but Liv Morgan and Lana is just nonsense as is the whole angle between Rusev/Lana/Lashley. The worst part is this angle has many more months of torturing us on Monday nights because it's not getting blown off until Wrestlemania.
