You know what I find asinine about the whole thing? Crucifixion existed both before and after Christ. It was nothing more than a horrifyingly brutal form of execution by torture. The crucifix itself is meaningless. The only thing that should be religious about it is specifically WHO is being crucified. But then, its par for the course for devout Christians to focus exclusively on the symbol and ignore the context of Christ and what he actually stood for.

I completely forgot about Randy "The Macho Man" Savage working for TNA in late-2004. A big "Thank you!" to The Solomonster for the memory refresher around 19:56-28:06 & it's ironic because I'm a big fan of Randy "The Macho Man" Savage & seemingly forgot about where he was in late-2004, apparently. In fairness, I thought Randy "The Macho Man" Savage looked to be in great shape--even at the age of 52. I was near the end of the first semester of my Freshman year of high school in late-2004 & I, personally was not only shocked because of seeing that Randy "The Macho Man" Savage was under contract with TNA, but, because of the shape that he was in, too.

December to Dismember. By far one of the worst shows I have ever seen. I cannot believe I actually bought this PPV. More fool me. Only one match was worth watching, that being the Hardys vs MNM. D2D is the worst in terms of watchability but it was so low stakes with no buildup for a brand that had been mismanaged. The worst show for me is Wrestlemania 27. By then it was a show big enough to hold in stadiums with super expensive travel packages and PPV pricing and they delivered an awful Raw-grade show with a main event that made their top title look like shit

Sting not only defeated both Flair and Hogan in their last televised single matches, he also did it by beating them both by submission! Also, there's no doubt that The Macho Man's knees were probably like glass, especially after all of those flying Ax handles from the ring to the floors, alone, over the years.

I don't know if this is true or not(it probably isn't), but I heard that with December to Dismember that Paul was very close to saying Fuck Vince and tell everyone the Extreme Elimination Chamber was going the way he wanted, just to piss Vince off and show him that he was making the right call not Vince. Even if it is true, we know Vince would have buried the hell out of Punk, and he never would've resigned.

I was at the last ECW PPV WWE had , my friends and I bought tickets a week or two after the 2nd One Night Stand, The tickets for December to dismember went on sale very shortly after the one night stand PPV. At that time Vince’s sorry ass hadn’t ruined ECW yet and the ECW fans were still pretty happy with ECW coming back. That December to dismember PPV represented the same thing the Booker T versus buff Bagwell match on Raw represented. Just Vince letting everyone know that he’s the only wrestling company in town and the stars of these other two companies I’m going to make worthless because he’s a huge mark for himself and his company and he isn’t smart enough to know that you can still keep your guys over and eventually win this thing without destroying innocent peoples careers because you and Kevin Dunn get horny when you ruin other people’s careers. We ordered the PPV and had it set up to tape to and that was the first time I had seen WWE programming with fake crowd noises. There was maybe a group of two dozen people opposite side of the hard camera that really marked out when Bobby won the extreme elimination chamber and that’s the only shot they showed it seems like. 80% of the audience was pissed off and they were pissed off enough that people are getting in fistfights in the parking lot with each other. No one left that arena and in Augusta Georgia happy that night. That was actually the night I quit supporting WWE. I completely gave up on the product and from that day forward I haven’t watched any current wrestling. May be a match here and there but as far as a full show haven’t watched a full WWE show since that night.
