He was the quiet kind of superstar like Tim Duncan. The quiet type prioritize the team rather than their popularity . He was a sure shot and so reliable in desperate situations. When he transfered to the heat, he gave the spotlight to Wade and Lebron but his skill as a shooter became more evident like the sniper on the team. Great player !!!

I’d say he sacrificed more when he was with the Celtics, that was literally in his prime and ended up being third option, just spot up shooter. In his Miami days he was already one foot out the door. Nonetheless his whole career was great.

Most underrated all around scorer ever. He became a 3 point specialist later in his career but that dude could flat out get buckets in his prime. He played on that very good Milwaukee Bucks teams with Big Dog & Sam Cassell. They all could get buckets. Speaks to the greatness of Allan Iverson. AI beat those good Buck teams, Toronto with Vinsanity and Tracey Mac then he beat the Orlando teams with T Mac & company. AI was just phenomenal. Look at those rosters the Sixers had. You can't tell the young folks nothing lol. They only saw the Miami Ray Allen. This was the pure shooter Ray Allen. This man used to shoot 1000 shots a day in the gym to develop that shot and rhythm.

When he was in Milwaukee and Seattle he was a beast even when he went to Boston he was transitioning from a franchise player to a role player

This is the guy I think whose legacy has been hurt the most with Curry's rise. Ray Allen was an unbelievable shooter, he was the best. And then like 2 years later, here comes Curry.

Might be the most skilled player ever. Went from being a high flyer to one of the best shooters in NBA history. Like no one else has done that.

Yeah, I remember watching this live. I already knew that Ray Allen was a different breed but by the end of this game and those clutches, man. My jaw dropped to the floor. The good old NBA games
