I'd suggest that people try a few pairs. I was surprised to find that green (G-15) is my favourite RB lens overall. Seems to work best with my sensitive and light colored eyes. I also get a lot of partly sunny days where I am, and so I find the B-15 brown adds too much coloring to everything for my tastes, where as the G-15 is much more natural looking to me. On the other hand, I like the gradient brown a lot as well as it has much better clarity and less coloring. Polarized vs non-polarized really comes down to personal use as well, I find the regular G-15 still cut a lot of glare and that the polarized only helped a little more in comparison (not enough that I'd want polarized necessarily). Overall I definitely prefer the Ray-Ban glass/crystal lens, they are great.

It’s funny how hard it is to find a video that lays it out like this. The eye floater information was also very informative! Thank you!

Great video, Could you tell me if the green lens or the graphite lens is darker? I’d like a lighter lens for cloudy conditions, thanks

Erica Metal are Plastic lenses. if you want glass check the New Aviator Chromance lens from Ray Ban or go to Acetate frames from Oliver Peoples they have glass lenses or go Persol they also have all-glass lenses.@@adamfavsvidc

In my experience, it's mainly the 'Classic' and gradient lenses that are crystal/glass. This means the G15, B15, Blue, Gray, etc and their gradient counter-parts. Also they must be Made in Italy versions it seems. 'Chromance' or Transitions seem to all be polycarbonate lenses, or Made in China versions will have polycarbonate more often. So I would personally stick to models like Original Wayfarer, Classic Aviators, Clubmaster and others Made in Italy with classic colours if you want glass lenses.

Ray an used to be good, but once it was acquired luxottica quality went down

If this were true, the same could be said for Persol who was also acquired by them, and yet no one makes them claim against Persol like they do Ray-Ban. Maybe actually try a pair and you will see the Made in Italy Ray-Bans are still great quality at the price point they sell for.
