Me too , its fantastic nature lured me in quite easily . Ray had a criticism of the advanced state of realism in scifi and horror ... He correctly said that realism kills the sense of fantasy . We are now seeing that he was of course correct .

I am glad I did not see Talos in this clip or it would trigger an anxiety attack! For me the sound of Talos coming back to life is more chilling than that first Cello in Jaws, and predates it by a mile! BRAVO Mr Harryhausen. 🏆

the remake of Clash of the Titans can only lick the ass at the amazing original of Harryhausen...the 7' voyage of Sinbad cant have a remake!!!

A most insightful interview with the master of stop-motion animation: Ray Harryhausen himself! Only wish they'd shown more of his early B/W movies. (Interviewed in 1989.) 🎭🎭🎭

As a kid i watched these films i thought they were so hooky at the time but i still liked them now that i am older and know how much real work goes into them i have a great respect for them and there creators and enjoy them even more .

Reminds me of the kids scarry show ... Goosebumps in the Halloween episode where the kids try on the mask and it doesn't come off and the kid turns into that exact creature .. YOIKS. ..

I've seen almost all these movies ....my Dad loved them and so did I and my Son Marcus....he's 26 and still loves these movies ...my Dad is in his 70's and still loves these movies And I 46 still love these movies ... My Son loves all the Pokemon and cartoons .... Games ... Mastered all of them .... Each one took him 24 hrs and MASTERED....my Son would stay up 24 hrs until MASTERED... He was approx 7 -yrs old up until his late teens ... Still wears a POKEMON BELT BUCKLE... TODAY... 😎😊 he loved the POWER RANGERS AS WELL... RED AND YELLOW AND GREEN ... RED FAVORITE ... LOVED GODZILLA ... ALLL DINOSAURS ... STILL DOES....LOVES ALLL BUGS AND CREEPY CRAWLY CRITTERS...KNOWS METICULOUS TRAITS OF THEM ALL... HABITATS ETC... ETC... YEPPPPP YEPPPPP.... THAT'S MY SON.. MARCUS 💙💙💙💙💙💙🐚🐚🦋🦋👣

That helmet behind him ....is that the one the magician used in the Sinbad movie ?

That helmet was worn by the grand vizier of marabia to hide his disfigured face in the golden voyage of sinbad. Hope that helps.

CGI ruined the cinema...this is real art, with this technique you can really express cinema....even in videogames animated sprites are better than 3d models....
