It’s awesome that Ray Lewis did the song he danced to in pre game every ravens home game. It was a natural fit. He was already associated with the song.
True story, my first concert was when I was 16 to see Nelly and he introduced this song to us for the first time. He called some girls to the stage to dance and I got picked. When I tell you I got on that stage and danced for my life I dropped it low and went to the ground. My parents would have been so disappointed if they saw me!!! Lmao!!!! Good times!
*When we were kids. "Our parents just* *don't understand this music"* *Now as parents. "Kids just don't* *understand this music"* *The Absolute Irony😂*
I was a parent and understood the music. I love so many genres of music. I didn't start listening to rap until my kids turned it to the station that played it. They asked if they could change it and I said yes. Eventually I said only if it's rap.
My first concert at either 12 or 13 was Nelly, around the time he released this. I had so much fun even though I had no business there lol. I was with my cousins and uncle so I was safe but his music was too grown for me. But so was Ludacris, and I loved him too. Millennials where y'all at?!
