Many years ago, was standing in a baseball field, stage side in Oklahoma. Ray Reece was doing his bit on stage, while we were standing in the company of none other than London Parris himself. Ray went for his growling low, and we heard this voice in our midst, drop the note another octave. No mic, no P.A., just an unfathomable low note. Will never forget if I live to be 100.
This is the kind of thing, rhat The Inspirations used to stay away from, clowning around during a song like this! Goodbye to the REAL Inspirations. Love ya, miss ya, mean it!
@tessyhamann7914 …you don’t know Southern Gospel or Ray Dean if you thought that was a real slap. Lighten up, get a sense of humor and quit being so “dramatic”! Nuff said!
I didn’t like him slapping Wyatt . What does that show ??? Is he jealous of Wyatt or what??? Just don’t care to see such things like that . My opinion.
It was just for show. It was to make the audience laugh. He didn't actually slap him. They do this every time they sing together. Wyatt Austin knows it's a joke and thinks it's funny
