By Request: After watching Raya and the Last Dragon I just had to check out the dolls and their toys! And I noticed ... we have options!! Hasbro and the Disney Store both have the dolls based on the animated movie ... so today we are checking them both out in an ALL NEW VERSUS! ...

This movie was such a nostalgia trip, in the sense of all the south east asian cultural influence. I saw so many things I grew up with and as an adult it's so heartwarming to finally have a piece of media revolving around your culture. Namaari is fav and I can't wait to get her doll 😫💙💙💙

Personally I like the Disney store dolls better because they have more articulation, all real (not sculpted) clothes and they look mor like the actual characters from the movie

Definitely Disney, they are way better dolls. The only reason she left it up to us is because Hasbro gave her free stuff. 🤦🏻‍♀️🐸

The ones from Hasbro are fine for young children, the Disney store ones are best for doll collectibles, so best of both worlds really.

I like the details in Disney's but the face sculpt of Hasbro more I think. I wonder if we can switch the Hasbro's head with another doll's body that has more articulation.

From me to my 8 year old son to my six year old daughter (whom will be 7 on Monday) to my 4 year old son (who will be celebrating his own birth this Easter). My 8 year old, Orion has been enjoying watching mommy building an apartment for his doll.

Those Hasbro dolls look really shoddy! Given that they're only $5 cheaper than the Disney ones, I'm not sure they justify their price.

In this VS the Disney dolls won, but the Hasbro pose that you made against the background made the doll look great!

Is it just me or does the Hasbro Sisu's head look better? The expression is a bit more goofy and in-character and the fluffy wild hair reminds me more of her dragon form than the Disney Store's more regular, slightly matted down hair.

This is the first time I actually like a Hasbro doll more than the DS version... That Hasbro Sisu face and wild hair captures the character much better than the pretty DS one, I don't even mind the lack of articulation and molded clothes. (The top also looks more accurate)

Disney is obviously going to make sure the best quality dolls for their movies come from them, haha. Still, there's something about the expression on the Hasbro Sisu doll that's more appealing to me. I also think the fluffier, wilder hair it has works better.

It seems to me that, during this Plandemic, Disney has endured a depleted talented animation force. The main character looks like Moana, and one of the elderly ladies looks just like Moana's grandmother.
