@@maharet0309 I think her voice sounding tired has less to do with how much she had been performing and more with them having her performing such a mellow song to such a large crowd of people. it’s not like escapism is like black mascara, which actually had a little choreography to it. escapism song is telling a story she can barley tell because she’s singing it live so she has to fill in the “trigger” words (c*caine, b*tches, etc) with energy (i.e., her jumping).

("oscar winning tears" and "worth it" are amazing). her first label, polydor records, sabotaged her for 7 years, they didn't allow her to release music she wanted, only collabs with DJs, and they never promoted her solo music too so that's why you don't know her. also watch her tiny desk concert, she's really super talented and underrated!
