@@astro-naut2567 480p mode has nothing to do with Discsize, it was most likely an oversight by the programmers since barely anyone at the time had the necessary equipment to enjoy 480p. (consumer CRTs didn't output 480p and the component cable was mostly only available through online ordering.
Also in the gamecube version some mingames require you to connect a gba with a copy of rayman 3 to unlock some minigames that are normally unlockable in other versions but the gamecube version has a coop gba + gc minigame that isnt in any other version
@@Obviousthrowawayaccount That’s it? Lol. In most cases, it takes more than resolution advantages to outweigh content/feature advantages if you ask me. Widescreen 480p is nothing compared to the extra mini-games.
@@revenge1205 It counts how important or major that extra feature is, is it worth worse more compressed textures, worse audio, and removed/reduced lighting effect for some small mini games?
blacker blacks on xbox 360 vs the others. also, the pc version doesn't play well with frame rates > 60hz. Fair warning. Use an external software to cap the framerate to 60hz...
@@KayJay_EU is that emulator? I prefer physical media but I am interested in that memory card that forces GameCube to play in 240i. It makes it sharper.
GameCube for sure, the PC One Isn't Even playable, the PC version says "press the Jump button ti Jump" or "Press the Attack button to Attack" or "Press the escape button to start"
I love Rayman 3 Gamecube version , play high framerate 3d render engine, because GPU have beast fast band memory cache buffer z buffer,second i like Xbox version best textures(64MB powers!) but shame lot slowdowns, third Xbox 360 say hey look new generation
Xbox 360 is the best looking version on original hardware but otherwise the best experience is playing the GameCube version with the og controller and HD textures, widescreen hack and ofc higher resolution on Dolphin emulator.
