There is something wrong with this version of the game, on the space mama boss battle it doesn't play the space mama music in this version, instead it plays the Mr dark theme what was wrong with the developers in this version? They had the space mama theme in this version but they didn't play it in the boss battles they only play the music in a normal level. That's stupid how the developers did that.
Not lazy devs... They had to fit a graphically gorgeous game onto a GBA cart. The detailed sprites and animations took up a lot of room. Many tracks had to be cut and others moved around.
I mean, the game seemed quite impressive for gba tbh, the colour palette used to be the exact same as the original before they saw that the GBA's screen was too dark so I would be interested to see that, the final colour palette makes the game look a little weird. As for the soundtrack, the sound engine used is absolutely terrible, songs are great but the sound engine is probably the worst I've heard in GBA games. I would be interested to see if someone finds out what sound engine it is and reverse engineers it so we can get high quality rips and maybe do a 1:1 remake of the new tracks
