One thing I love about the PalmOS's greyscale setting is it almost makes the levels look like the GBC game on a GameBoy Original (which is ironic, given the game wasn't backwards compatible), but oh boy these look glorious. Your dedication is admirable... and this is coming from someone who is only just getting started on their own Airy Tunes remake.
Yeah, I’ve even thought about making a brand new greyscale of the GBC original at some point and I think that idea may evolve into something later on! Using a simple filter, I could even convert any version into a pretty accurate GB Original or Greyscale port, visually speaking! Would also be perfect for Rayman 2 Forever which only got one version originally if I really go as far remaking it (my few experiments so far are working very well)! Perhaps these versions would be a bonus to consider for the special full release of the whole project… or for the next step I’m planning afterwards, which I like to refer to as the ‘Redemption’ treatment!
