Yes, as I played all his creations consecutively, this is where you can see I got tired.
My performance is especially bad in the final one, though I have the excuse of it being the hardest by far.
I still had a great time, particularly in Mushroom Stalk and Christmas Valley which were beyond wonderful and are some of my favourite ReDesigner content ever made! Truly magical!
Project Geothermia, on the other hand, is the cruellest of them all! It’s also the most ambitious and it’s very impressive as it even uses custom graphics and it’s mostly a reference to the Rayman SNES prototype which took place in a computer.
Though, this doesn’t change how ruthless and absurd it can get at some points, especially with all the instant death obstacles and the ridiculous amount of enemies in a certain section!
But hey, it’s not a bad conclusion (albeit the ending gives some big fanfic energy lol) and its sheer scale makes it a satisfying send-off for Ravey Davey’s ReDesigner projects!
Curiously, this is his only map which wasn’t showcased at all on his channel. I assume it may have been done to avoid possible nasty comments, as even Geography Mania had a trailer…
That, or even him had too much trouble recording it. :P
Well, that was quite an epic saga! Whatever Ravey Davey may be up to now that he has stopped making ReDesigner content, I wish him the best in his future endeavours!
It was truly a joy to play levels made by someone so stupendously talented!
Naturally, we’ll return to a proper variety of different creators for the next compilations, whenever they happen!
