Loved to see this one pop up. Was always a fan of Ray. The All American Boys gimmick and theme was so much fun. BTW, gonna get some five best bets during the baseball homestretch? Been mostly money 🎉

Lots of Italian Canadians in Montreal as well like the great Dino Bravo and his uncle Vic Catrone. Vic was pro wrestler, promoter and mob boss in Montreal.

I had suggested Ray for an interview after seeing Jacques. Ray is always a good interview, always full of integrity and always tells the most believable version of the Dynamite Kid story. I hope the show creators had listened to me.

I enjoy your interviews that concern the various promotions. If one wasn't around back in the day you might think there was only one Canadian promotion (Calgary) so thanks for shining the light on Toronto and Montreal. But there were good territories on the east and west coast as well.

@@geraldbrisco6474 All Star Wrestling out of Vancouver (promoted by Rod Fenton, Sandor Kovacs and Gene Kiniski IIRC) would be an interesting listen. They had talent the likes of Don Leo Jonathan, Big John Quinn, Gene Kiniski, Dutch Savage, Bulldog Bob Brown, Dean Higuchi/Ho, Eric Froelich, Duncan McTavish, Jack Bence etc and was mainly hosted by the immortal Ron Morrier. The TV show aired from 1962 until 1989. Hot Rod wrestled there as well and I have to wonder if he got the kilt gimmick from McTavish.

@@geraldbrisco6474 On the East coast there was International Wrestling and later Atlantic/World Grand Prix Wrestling promoted by Al Zinck and then Emile Dupre (AGPW). The stars of those promotions were The Cormiers (The Beast, Leo Burke, Rudy and Bobby Kay), The Stomper Archie Gouldie, Freddie Sweetan, Killer Karl Krupp, Sweet Daddy Siki, Bulldog Bob Brown, The Poffos (Randy, Lanny and Angelo), a young Rick Martel and Stephen Petitpas. JJ Dillon and Bobby Bass might be among the few survivors left to talk about the promotion, also IW announcer Clary Flemming (the original Miiiiiister Flemming before Miiiiister McCluckCluck. I was too young to get into the business I wanted to get into . By the time I am out of High School that business model was practically dead .1987 the territories were drying up .Had I been just 5-6 years older I would have made my run at wrestling . It was an adventurous life then . Was never glamorous but the brotherhood , traveling and notoriety really appealed to me . Almost like a traveling stage show or a Wild West Stunt Show .

what a great positive attitude ... i remember this guy , but didnt watch much then ... but i knew hed be a great interview because he got out of the ring early ... that shows intelligence and that he was doing bigger things and was smart with his money ... success in life is much more important than a good run in wrestling decades ago

The Rougeaus were an amazing tag team. Both as good guys and bad guys. Great to see Raymond and Jacques on the show. Always watch when the old school guys are on.
