Rayne Demonseed LDP(pushing) 

At 6'5 and 275, I've ordered one. I'm getting into longboard and tried a friend's demonseed. It was great even under my weight, it felt like a tank. So i ordered one.

I just picked up a used Demonseed (the old original Maple deck). Hands down the finest board I've ridden. I'm 6'3", 210lbs and like you, I absolutely LOVE the size of this thing. I was worried that my 80mm O-Tang Kegels would be a bit too big, but if you're running Flywheels with no problem I might have to upsize when mine wear out. Hell...I'd love to see this deck with a set of Electric Flywheels on it!

I hope you're still great Matt, can you let me know how to protect this board, the nose and tail to keep it alive for long, I enjoy the long boards too, and this is actually light, despite it's size

demonseed is a sick board, how do you find it handles on the downhill and slides? ive been doing all my ldp in the alps (italy, switzerland, france) and sometimes you get into some pretty steep and narrow stuff. Im kinda worried the deemonseed may have to big of a turn radius (no joke some roads are at max 3m wide).

Isn't it going a bit slow for someone pushing and going downhill at the same time?

do you get wheel bite or get close to it with the 42* trucks and the big wheels?

not at all i just pushed 200 km and spots were narrow soft bushings and its way more nimble than ppl say it is and the 2013 model has two options for trucks you can mount them close for a more narrow wheelbase

I suck at double kicking, my right leg, due to ankle injury 16 years ago, is not my kicking leg, i'm goofy through and through :D
