@@_Mutt_ Quetzalcoatl is pronounced something like "Ket-zal-coh-aht" so if you take the "co-ah" sound there you get something like "Ray-co-ah-za", and since it's a "q" not a "c", "Ray-kwah-za" my thought is the the "co-ah" of Quetzalcoatl correseponds to a "qua" in Rayquaza by a simple modification of the hard "coa" sound to a more "kwa"-ified sound spelt with "q" - this would not be unusual as these phonemes are often substituted in similar circumstances, such as in the word "cumin" which some pronounce as "coo-min" and others as "kyu-min" - you will notice that "coa" (as co-ah) and "qua" (as "kwa") are pretty similar already

The problem with Rayquaza is that Dragonite does its job just as well, and Dragonite doesn't take a legendary slot.

Powerhouse kinda falls into the same issue as Pseudo-Legendary where that doesnt imply "600BST" to me. Like Urshifu is a powerhouse, Rampardos is a powerhouse, Miraidon is a powerhorse so you got me there, Dondozo becomes a powerhouse with Commander boost. Its at a least better official name compared to First Partner

Pseudo legendary is good cause it implies that these pokemon are extremely rare, so much so that they have an almost legendary status

Pseudo Legendary isnt 600 BST only, its also pokemon that evolved late game, are incredibly rare to the point of being legend, and have 3 pokemon in their evo line.
