I just sliced the tiny wire on the top half of the mouse. Be careful when you do this, there's really no way to replace that wire. I think it would've been a lot easier to disconnect the board and then remove those wires, you'd have a lot more room. Just thoughts for the next person to try and take it apart for cleaning.
