Razer Nommo Chroma Vs Logitech G560 - So Worth The Extra $50 

If you update to the latest Firmware, the volume smoothens a lot and it actually reduces too much. I used to listen to it at 12 before the update, now 40 is the new 12. :)

Yeah I used to have them and thought they were great. I upgraded to the Logitech ones and now I see the razor ones aren't even close to as good

I don't know if the razer is the best but it sounded loud and good, the logitech might have better bass and clearer sound, I love bass what do you guys suggest

@@vambat3523 You answered it for yourself. You love bass, then get the one with a dedicated sub so the Logi. I got the razer’s a few years back cause I had other Razer stuff but I still rock them cause they get the job done. Personally have another audio setup for when I really want to listen to high fidelity audio

​@@toppcatt5113 yeah true. But that's not very strange for the build type that Razer went for. However, the g560's offer a lot more for about the same price. And you can always tweak sound. All i can say for the g560's is that they are very very solid for the price. And the screen sampling lighting is a great addition (next to the other options) I know the razer's sound pretty decent. But for the total package it offers i rather go to logitech on this one. I own the g560's myself now too. If you are a real razer fan and you really want it on your desk i'd say go for it. Can't go wrong with it. I do have other razer items myself as well. But the nommo's just didn't make the cut for me. Neither the nommo pro, since it doesn't have the same lighting options. but to each their own. Especially sound is very very subjective to anyone. One person says it's shite, while the next says it's great.

@@toppcatt5113 yeah, if it is just the sound you're after those are fine. I also wanted sound with a more complete spectrum. Don't really need the super high precision / fidelity. And the lighting was a total sell point for me. I bought it in returned retail packaging which made it at least 50 euro's cheaper for me at the time. (About 70-60 dollars or so? Don't know the current currency atm). Fair warning: emulated surround sound from almost every 2.1 sounds muddy to me and very unconvincing. G560's not excluded. This was definitely not a reason for me to switch over to these. But more compact, still powerful and fun rgb options. Hope you can find the right system for your own requirements.

JBFro well you also got to think it depends on the mics he is using. Bass is always hard to get clear on mics, because the mics don't realize the highs or mids.

@jbfro the only reason his sounded that way, was because he had the bass all the way up. it was merely to show off the pounding the bass does. i assure you. logitech speakers are nice and crisp.

Massimo De Grazia I ended up getting the Razers with the intention of returning them if I didn't like them, but let me tell you they are some good ass speakers and can get really loud without distorting sound quality. I was going to try the Kato YU2 , Edifier Luna eclipse, or Mackie CR3 but the Razers sound really good

@@xg3990 replying to a 2 year old comment but still stand by this. you can get good speakers from sennheiser or legitimate studio monitors with a subwoofer for much better sound for the same price as the G560s. the flashing rgb lights *are* a gimmick, because they don't help with sound. if you think im poor, more power to you bud ;)

Katana is much clearer, the G560 doesn’t sound very good in comparison. It doesn’t even sound better than the Nommo, apart from having a lot more bass.

Denk van niet, ik heb de chroma bij Mediamarkt voor 150 gezien en de G560 voor 300, je betaalt in Nederland de dubbele prijs de normale zonder RGB zijn 100. Tot conclusie zijn het allbei prachtige speakers maar in Nederland zijn de prijzen raar, ik denk dat je beter af bent met de Nommo (Chroma of niet)

The audio fidelity and range is quite nice, it’s a lot easier for to pick up unwanted frequencies, although better speakers are in questions for the future, calling these “improper” speakers is goofy. You’d be surprised by my production quality.

The default flat mode on Logitech is distorted. If you change it to the cinematic gaming it's way better. Like I was a audiophile years ago then stopped caring as much but I still notice differences in sound immediately. I bought the G560 and was disappointed personally on initial use and said whatever. i just needed to stop using giant speakers on my PC setup. But then I went into the software and changed it and legit the speakers are legit amazing sounding. . Bass is clean and such. I keep seeing people using the flat and trying to adjusting when it's not good period.
