Sorry about the poor audio when I go to cam 2. Also some may be thinking, well the optical switches make the improvement on the viper. Maybe a pinch, but it's more how much travel is in your buttons, how quickly can the button hit the switch (pre-travel) but the sabre and viper have very short is any travel.
My headsets starting to break which one do you reccomend more for ps4, the hyper x cloud stinger or razer kraken x? Cause they are the only budget ones that I've heard about that are actually good. Anybody's feedback helps, thanks guys.
Great collaboration 👍🥳🥰 I’m personally not a Razer fan, but I feel, as both you and Justkrook mentioned, with COD series being a newer demanding title, unlike CSGO and Valorant etc, newer titles coming out this year and going forward may have minute benefits in addition with high refresh rates, anti-lag, Reflex etc for first person shooters, but not in many older games.

Loved the longer style of video. Personally, I think tech is starting to get to where the diminishing returns are so small that there is no reason to upgrade, but there is no reason to stop trying to have a better product. Also, I noticed that you mentioned optical switches. Can you change the sensitivity of the optical switches like you can on some keyboards? I think that would be a bigger selling point for me over the 8k.

Hey techne, amazing video! I have a question I want to upgrade my setup. I use a gaming laptop I have option of getting a gk61 + 16gb ram or a hp 144hz monitor ( x24ih ), which one should I get. I have a PS4 and mainly play controller but I also play kbm sometimes. My specs PS4 ryzen 5 3550h and gtx 1650 max q ( I do not have a keyboard and I am not that competitive)
I just bought it for $40 and need a new mouse bc my current mouse wheel is broken as it scrolls up a bit when i scroll down. Might as well get a future proof mouse. Idk my current mouse pool so this should be upgrade at the least
it's not the 8K and Synapse, its Synapse itself that causes the crashing in COD Cold War. I have the same intermittent crashing with my blackshark v2 Pro and basillisk ultimate using Synapse. Its not all the time but every once in awhile it will crash

I just bought a Logitech Pro X Superlight and now I'm watching this. But I'm ok till a Viper Ultimate Wireless is updated to 4k or 8k polling rate (if that is even possible with wireless bandwith), or a Logitech Pro X revision with higher polling.
just was thinking about buying mouse but I got the regular viper because i could not even tell the difference from 8k and for a consumer but great video man.
i actually picked up this mouse and can give you a little info on the use for fortnite. the input delay is almost non existent. for someone who plays with pros and at my level, this mouse is so good the debounce time is just perfect for it i feel like i have an advantage over everyone, because sadly, thats what comp fortnite is, input delay and ping.
Sorry for my strange question, I'm trying razer viper8k and mini, can be possible that mini has a better sensor on fps as tracking? Because as shape mini is too small for me that I use palm grip but as sensor it seems so better, and 8k polling rate seems works fine just on overwatch talking about games
Hey techne does your viper, ultimate, mini or 8k have click wobble problem or is it normal? I bought 2 vipers one for me and one for a friend and they both have left click wobble.
I think you noticed a difference in call of duty because It's more demanding thus adding latency but if you play a non demanding game there's nothing to stress the pc so there'll barely be any difference (especially since you play on a very high end pc). This is just speculation though.
I currently use a G502 wired one. I want to upgrade for wireless, I've seen all the reviews for viper ultimate/basilisk and g502 wireless. still can't decide. anyone can tell me about your experience with wireless versions of them?

I used 500hz then i got my first intellimouse 1.1 now i have the gpro x still use 500hz eventho the mouse can have 1000hz i could but the viper 8000hz but would still set it on 500hz consistancy is the key
Synapse is indeed a big bloated mess. I'd love to save the battery indicator to the dock, and never use the software again. I don't trust it. I don't like the data it wants to keep sending to Razer. So if I kept it running, I made sure I firewalled it off.
I would love to make a collab with you sometime in the future. But right now my channel i probably a little too small to make sense for you. But yeah keep up making good videos ;D
no disrespect but I think there is a placebo effect going on when people say they are better because of the 8k. I mean, so many pro players havent shown any interest on it at all, even though they are aim gods and should consider any small advantage they can get, it is a serious business with a lot of money involved. Not to mention they have limetless resource in terms of power computer, so any performane penalty should be unnoticeable.

From your impressions and from other reviewers, this product seems borked! A beta product. Razer should have tested this before they launched this crap and they should have released something that actually benefits the user, typical Razer but they have released some great stuff recently but this one seems a silly miss-step! seriously, what is pooling rates in gaming mouse, basically if we do gaming all depends our reflexes not pooling rate, because we're the one who controlling the mouse, and mouse is not an aim bot PC gaming stuff like razer etc, talks all about einstein stuff even gamers had no idea what the fuck is this shit
