I will die on this hill but the GPX shape feels way better to me. Viper v3 pro feels too larger in comparison, the front flares make it feel super wide and unnatural for me.
Hey how are the side buttons on the v3 pro is it like easy to press. Because I use my bottom side mouse button to edit, and I’m a pretty fast editor and I need a new mouse I’m currently using the Puslair haste 2 hyper x. And the side button are getting mushy like hard to press
@@PiYo777_i’ve used the gpx 2 and i just got the v3 pro. side buttons are way better on v3 pro you can feel them more and probably better for your editing bind. the logitech side buttons are small and can’t really feel them when you click them.
Here's the list of mice I currently own Logitech G Pro X SuperLight 1 & G305 &G305 & G703 & G403 SteelSeries Rival & Rival 310 Razer Cobra & Viper V2 Pro & Deathadder V3 Pro & Viper V3 Pro EndGame Gear XM2we ( Fantastic mouse ) Vaxee NP-01S With that being said. Every mouse got put back in the drawer after playing with the Viper V3 Pro for only an hour. I love everything about it. I love the fact that you can use the auto polling rate change when in game. I use it at 500Hz on desktop to save on battery life and 2k in-game. I only play at 144fps so anything above 2k is really just unnecessary. I also have VERY dry hands. This pretty much forces me to use grip tape on every mouse I've used that didn't already have rubber side grips. The coating the V3 comes with is incredible for me. So nice and sticky even on the black version. I adore this mouse. Best 160$ I've spent in a LONG time!. Great review btw! V3 Pro is a banger for sure.
The pronunciation so clear i didnt even realise i had left it on x1.5. Mouse looks great but at 180e in Europe I've got many other options for almost half the cost.
2k hz is the play. I love this mouse a ton. Only thing i like more about my gpx is the shape... If only the gpx2 didnt have spinout, crappy scroll wheel, the worst switches, side buttons that worked, skates that arnt trash, and software that didnt brake id probably keep using it...
Auto exposure is having a tough time switching from the white mouse to the black pad. Set exposure manually for videos like this to avoid exposure swings.
I bought the V3. My main is the DAV3. The shape of the V3 is weird. I don't understand the purpose of the inward sloping sides. My guess is that is to prevent slippage , but at these weights, slippage just doesn't happen. The worst part about the V3 is how low to the ground it is . Finger drag is hard to avoid unless I scrunch my fingers. Can someone tell me what is the appeal ? Why not get the more comfortable DAV3 with 8g more weight ?
DAV3 is too big for most people to comfortably claw or fingertip. V3 pro is a good canvas for lots of hands, probably not ideal as a palm though which could be your issue
lots of people don't want to spend lots of money on different mice to figure out their preferred grip style, vv3 is a good canvas like the superlight is, if you already know your preferences these kind of safe shape could just be an insta pass tbh (i'm still waiting for a za clone)
I like mine, I had suttering/liftoff issues with my black one and recently got a white one. It’s a much better mouse than the ULX and GPX 2, but I will never sell my GPX 2 as it’s on another level for shape/comfort/control. Battery on the viper v3 is amazing, I can play for hours and only drop 1-2%, whereas the GPX 2 will drop much faster.
I have the GPX1, Beast X, OP1 8k and viper v3 and the most spammable clicks are from the Viper v3. Gpx1 has mechanical switches and it feels muddy compared to the viper

I'd say the Viper V2 Pro shape is less claw grip that fingertip, the V3 is better not only for palm but also for claw because the increased rear hump angle
On Fortnite I have to set my polling rate on 500hz or lower. (I’m using the viper v3 pro) my cpu is a ryzen 7 5800x3d. If I set my polling rate higher my game stutters like hell and frame rate drops and it’s completely unplayable. Bought this mouse for 8k polling for fortnite and I can’t use higher than 500hz 😢
Do high end mouse end up getting double click issue in less than a year with fair amount of use in your opinion? Im thinking about getting this mouse as a first high end mouse , i used to have cheap mouse razer mouse which end up getting double click issue on side buttons and scroll wheel going down when scrolling up in 6 months to 1 year

Quick tip for all you new Viper v3 pro owners out there. Dav3 skates fit perfectly on the viper v3 pro. I just put an extra set of x-raypad obsidian skates on mine and it’s wonderful!
Would you say Viper V3 pro is closer to DeathAdder V3 pro rather than Viper V2 pro to DAV3 Pro? I am planning to switch from wired DAV3 but haven't used symmetrical mice in a while but see that Viper V3 pro is a bit higher than V2 pro so it could work.
@@HOLY_FRIJOLES I know right, always wanted to switch to symmetrical and I see from the size and shape of Viper V3 pro it is a bit higher than Viper V2 Pro, so it might be better and easier for me to switch from Deathadder V3.
About polling rate i manage to hit 7600 Hz polling rate on 1600 dpi (that my current dpi and im not moving to lower or higher dpi) and it was so hard to hit 7600 Hz. Im not flexing i did that on Aorus 4090 Master and i9 13900k. You are right Razer are so much a head now. Im gonna hit subscribe button now. One of the best reviews atm !
There is no perfect mouse. The number 1 thing you have too look at is the shape of the mouse when you are buing it for yourself, and Viper V3 pro compleatly does not suite my hand size. This is the mouse for people with bigger hands, and saying that this is the perfect mouse is a lie. Everyone got their preferences and there is no mouse on the market that will suite everybody perfect.
Gpx shape is better. Idc how many more people overhype and clickbait this. Tried both and the viper v3 pro is definitely bigger, hate the front flares and feels wider in the back as well. No one cared when the hyperspeed came out and the majority of reviewers didn't even like the shape that much and now everyone pretends the identical shape is the second coming of god. Made me try it because everyone stated it's this obvious upgrade or "a better gpx", when it's simply not.
I disagree. The GPX is stupid overrated. The shape sucks because I never get that "locked in feeling" with it and it makes my hand cramp after only two hours, the side buttons are utter garbage mush, the scroll wheel sucks because the steps are far to light, the coating sucks and feels way to slippery, the stock skates are TERRIBLE. I have tried a lot of mice and have a lot of things to compare it to and it really isn't that good. ( all just my opinion so don't lose your mind. )
@@ThePlantedTankTV Not gonna lose my mind, just disagreeing with your disagreement. I tried well over 40+ mice and still own around 10. Razer, Logitech, Vaxee, Zowie, Endgame Gear, Pulsar, basically any brand among them. Stock skates I replace, so I'd agree there. The coating is good and I own vaxee/zowie/endgame gear mice to compare it too. Maybe not quite as good as some others, but def not slippery ( I won 2 white versions for reference). Never had an issue with the scroll wheel. Side buttons you might be right, I can't say as I'm not heavily using side buttons on mice. If you prefer a "locked-in" feeling then you naturally prefer some form of aggressive claw or a shape that forces you into a specific grip. In this case I also wouldn't play smth like the gpx or viper v3 pro but something like the xm1 shape. I change my grip slightly depending on what I'm doing (tracking vs static etc), so I love the gpx as I can wiggle around a bit and find a super comfy grip no matter what. Needless to say the GPX is perfect for ME, after trying basically any mouse and shape there is. To each their own.
@@dontcarecaredontfor me I have super dry hands so it's a super slippery mouse. I had a black on originally and returned it then I bought the red one because people said they changed the coating but sadly it felt the same to me. Very plasticy and slippery. The only coatings that aren't slippery in my dry ass hands are glossy mice ( I know it doesn't make any sense ) and rubberized coatings or rubber grips. I'm just saying I think it's a far better mouse. But the superlight is still a great mouse. I still switch mice from time to time so I feel like I didn't just waster my money 😅 but I need to order grip tape again. The stock grip tape sucks. lol also another thing I forgot to mention was mouse 2 sticks up about 1.5mm higher than mouse 1 which drives me insane. Especially if I look at it from my normal seating position. And what the heck won't don't other companies have the auto polling rate change in-game as an option to help on battery life. I'm willing to bet we are going to see everyone else doing that. All in all though I'm a mouse enthusiast at this point and I know there are better shapes but this thing just clicks for me.
