Its interesting how he, Sebastian Gorka, follows that old traditional newscaster thing where he repeats who hes talking to and advertises his guest after each question, even though the reason you did that was because in old flow-TV you might have viewers tuning in, in the middle of it and being unable to rewind...except now we can rewind. For the aspiring professional American progressivist, participating in a protest is a rite of passage. This sort of "community organizing" is to the progressivists what a service mission is to many young Christians. Except that, instead of doing something useful for someone less fortunate (you know, actual social justice per the original definition of that phrase), they're cosplaying as the aggrieved in order to: 1) learn the ropes and 2) demonstrate loyalty. In the eyes of those funding this malarkey, a willingness to be arrested (as an example) demonstrates at least some loyalty to "the cause" (ie Marxism) and puts the participants on a short list for promotion within the global scheme. What you're seeing is a graduation ceremony of sorts for the next generation of Marxists. This is why it needs to happen every few years and why it always seems exclusive to solid blue cities in general, and university areas in particular. They're training, interviewing, and trying out for a lucrative job that is in high demand.
