Razor MX650 Speed Mods : 16MPH to 28MPH 

I got my electric razor moped scooter up to 39 mph with a 11 tooth front and 55 tooth back, 12.5 inch tires and 52v 20ah 40 amp battery with 1800w brushless motor kit. I weigh 135lb. Still has some torque.

Awesome! Well, honestly I don't think it will impact range much at all. Thats more a function of the watt hours of the batteries.

what chain did you use and wym by torque

@@lichocolate4719 mine is far from stock.... believe me there's enough torque to leave you sitting on the pavement.

Hello, I can't remember if I tried that but I don't think so. It is so underpowered stock that I probably wouldn't have tried that. You might get more top end but would feel like a dog

I have a 36v 800w set up on my bike mx650 and rsf650. I haven't tested the top speed on the mx yet because my son rides it but on the rsf650 my top speed is 20.6 mph and I am 190lbs. With my daughter on it (75lbs) top speed is 22mph. Now looking into getting 60v 2000w. I guess what I am saying is go for more power the first time lol I thought 800w would be enough......bit by the speed bug

i think i remember watching one of your videos or maybe it was someone elses but did you have an issue with the 114 links of 8mm chain being too long for the kit? I had finally gotten through every other hurdle on my first kit that i ever did...which is still the only kit i have done so far, i have 2 more on the way, but the chain was much too long. After a bunch more youtube videos and getting the wrong kind of chain breaker i finally got it to the right size for the 11 tooth sprocket. When i upgraded to the 15 tooth sprocket on the motor with the 72 tooth on the tire, the chain wouldn't fit anymore and now i am at the point where the original chain is not sounding quite right after all that i went through with it, and i am going to order a new one. After saying all that... 1. did you have any issues with the chain being too short after changing the sprockets out? 2. Do you know how many links would be optimal to order? I was thinking 112 and then i could always add some good links from the one i have already if that was too short. Also what was the best setup with the 1800 watt motor for the front and rear sprockets that you and your son liked the best? I only have the 72 tooth for the 8mm chain that came with the kit? I was thinking of putting the old chain back on for the time being with the 80 tooth rear and 11 tooth on the motor for the #25 chain and see how it goes but didn't know if that 1800 watts was too much for that original chain. Sorry about the novel but appreciate any input you could give. Take care! Sully
