THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I learned some things idk you could do in ship building. I also rebuilt my Razorleaf after your model but then added habs and molded it my own way, not quite as cool as yours, but it's better than it was lol. I'll rebuild the ship we get from freestar rangers after your model more accurately.

I learned a ton. This is the sort of vid ya gotta rewatch a few times to really chew the deets. Using weapon mounts to weld structure after using bracers to suspend them like scaffolding. LEGEND.

Build looks sick. My only concern is that you have 39 Power and only 1 actual weapon system. That's a farcry from "Ultimate Firepower". You are obviously in the Vanguard, so at least slap 6 of those Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojecters on there too. Keep both systems at half power. Your burst damage will be insane and your speed and maneuverability will keep you alive during the minimal recharge on those weapons.

I like to run the 2 missile launchers that I add at the end of the video. It keeps the power needed to a minimum, as I know most people won't have access to that reactor that early in the game. I just build the ship's, make them look good and do their job. You're all open to customise it how you see fit for personal needs 😊

Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm learning every time I make a new vid, so hopefully I'll have much better videos in no time. The Exodus is my favourite, but I've got loads more ships to come. I love building new ships in my own image, so id have to put my own twist on your idea. I will definitely add it to the list, and build one when I get to it. The trouble is the money grind in this game. I have built 9 ships, and they cost a lot of credits 😂 I need to get a gaming pc and use mods. I'd get 2 build videos done a week.

this was fun to fly quite deadly & overpowered for b class, easy to upgrade added 2 habs in the split nose off the front companion to better accommodate the crew.

@@delinquentsplayground Ah, I understand what you're targeting this ship for. Would you allow me to ask you some questions on ship builds? When I'm adding weapons, I always get an error stating that "Weapons need to be in a group" or that the ship exceeds the height or length limit. Kinda crazy stuff when I find others building their ships much more significant and having more weapons than the ships I would ever consider building. Thank you.

@@nathangregory_ you go to the finish buid menu where the errors come up, and there you should see "firing groups" or "weapon groups" or something like that. Just add different weapons to different firing groups. You can only build a ship 80 metres long, cant get bigger without mods

ok, I went total longsword with the razor last time but this damn looks like the blade weapon it should be, love the Mantis story hopefully they do more with that it's like Batman & punisher in one I thought one pirate was going to give me his ship not that I'd want it after he just used it as a latrine

Yeh copy, i had to ship farm on level 75 moons to get the money for the dragonfire, then your build popped up for the Razor 😁 again amazing build ( 1 more level and i can get the next reactor, then install a couple of turrets on the back to protect my ass lol @@delinquentsplayground

Thats an intimidating look! Props! Really easy to follow your instructions and very creative in how you went about the design. Very impressive. Hope to see a Star Eagle build/design on your channel when I get thru the Freestar Ranger quest line. My only question as a new player is, does the added overall mass affect the maneuverability of the ship? The engine is much more powerful, so theres that. But when using thrusters and overall "dog fighting" handling, is it affected negatively?

Great vid, thanks! But did you know that the class a white dwarf engines the 3015’s will output at 180? Fastest engine available.

Yes, but you can only use 4 of them. 6 x SA's have more Thrust and M.Thrust than the 3015s, so you can add more weight to the ship and keep the mobility up. If you want to use the 3015s though, they will fit 👍

I've just looked. The WDs drastically reduce the mobility of the ship so SAs are the way to go, unless you want a tint amount of cargo space

@delinquentsplayground Weak razorleaf my 180 and 140 top speed (named Razorleaf V and Razorleaf VI) outclass this build while still maintaining 100 mobility and keeps the razorleaf looking identical with way higher specs than this. You also stole the paint job from me.

I did something similar, but I made it a Class C ship so I could install up to four SAL-6830's and about 6K of cargo space.

I am on my first NG+ and I didn't go get this ship this time. I did the UC missions and destroyed the Crimson Fleet. Collected that massive bank roll and skipped around to a couple of planets. Liberated an Ecliptic Claymore and upgraded it Cargo is not shielded but I do not run contra. Trimmed cargo cap to 2700 added fuel, grav, weapons. Swapped the brig for living quarters and cranked the shields. Still had over half of my creds and could buy a house. But I have the penthouse and outposts.

Well you can always swap out the shielded cargo for normal cargo. You will get close to 3000 and still have all the benefits of this ship. You do you though, I actually prefer bigger, slower class c ships anyway 😅

Die with a whimper and give me XP. lol Did like the Razorleaf my first playthrough but swapped it for a custom made Freestar. What was it called, Eagle? Something like that. I have stolen and sold so many ships the names run together. I named the Claymore, "Renegade" because that was the money making mission that gave the funds for the upgrade. Love that Cabot C4 Bridge. (321 hours in game) Hope the Creation Kit brings people back. I really like the game, hate the "mixed reviews". Your build does look great and I hope you enjoy the game.

Yeah best to start with the star Eagle or just from scratch to avoid the fleeing. I have actually found though that sometimes pirates go looking dor the mantis as they say "the bounty is large". Sometimes they flee, sometimes they hunt you 😂 More ship parts would be awesome, we could really go to town on ship building, it's my favourite part of the game. Thanks for the comments 🎉

Drop down glitch. You may have to do the dupe glitch if you're on PC. Look them up. Maybe I'll do a short on it for everyone since I get this question a lot

Pretty much 350K once you delete the original ship. You need starship design rank 4 and piloting rank 3 to maximise on grav drive, reactor, and engines. 🚀

what's your crew capacity? Instead of some of those bracers, can i use habs? I was thinking of a simular build but i wanted to add a control station, infirmary, living quarters, & armory as my total habs. would this work with a build like this? too much weight?

The ship has a max crew of 7, so it's already pretty good. You can swap out the habs f you like, but this ship is close to the weight limit for the 100% mobility on the engines, so adding anymore will effect mobility. You can replace the shielded cargo for normal cargo and this may bring the weight down enough to add an extra hab, but if not, just add a C class reactor, and some c class engines like the Poseidon DT engines. Hope that helps 🎉

Build an outpost on any planet, and add a landing bay with builder. Here you have access to most parts in the game

Who knows, but considering they keep making it worse with every update, maybe they become unusable. I vote for more ship parts, and I want the credit chests back because its an absolute grind to build a ship for you guys on xbox

Reactor is level 60 but you don't have to use that one. I'm remaking the video as we speak and it has a lot more information in it for you guys

Nice ship and fun, affordable build. I built it over the Frontier. Can't have those pirates running away on us. - Can you remake this video. I do appreciate your work. - You didn't say what engines to get from Red Nile. I had to scrub around to see what they were. Turns out I didn't buy enough of them. - I have a hearing disability and you're hard to understand. With the cold, muffled mic and fast speech etc. - Also slow down, you are moving from item to item too fast. - Interestingly my cockpit didn't need a drop-down glitch. - The attachments for the PB-175 Helion Beams is weird. I had to attache the outer two first. If not the attachment points for them would be disabled. - I added 6 Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojectors to the ship. Four of them bellow the Pb-175 Helion Beams, infant of the two cargo pods. The two remaining ones went under-side of the forward most Nova Cowling 2L-SF modules,

Level 45 unlock. You can use the DT60 engines until you unlock them. The razorleaf actually has 2 of the DTs already so you only need to buy 2 more 😊
