Yes, absolutely correct. Whichever way, the RBI may have Privatised IDBI in RBI Act, 1934, but it is partially incorrect. IDBI Bank's majority ownership is by LICI, which is again a PSU. The Govt holds more than 50 percent ownership in IDBI Bank through LIC and Rest of the Ownership is by Govt of India itself. Had majority of Shares been held by a Pvt entity like Tata, then RBI's classification on IDBI Bank as Privatised Bank would have been correct. But, isko RBI Jor zabardasti apne Act mein Private Likh diya hai jo illogical hai. Jo Organisation ka majority stake Koi PSU hold kare, toh phir woh kaise Privatised Hui ? It's Concept is that of Holding Company holding Majority Stake in a Organisation, Minority Interest is also calculated here
