Yes, this is the biggest thing rsf needs. A launcher very similar to content manager where you can change all settings, controls, choose cars and tracks and then go straight into the stage

@@mrtakeaminute6815 doesnt he show a launcher?.. seems much nicer than it was...but yeah ...that was the biggest let down with RSF mod for me... it was such a mess..

@@WacKEDmaN thats just a launcher to load you into the game, which still has menus and bad UI ingame you have to go through. When I say they need a new launcher I mean a launcher that will put you straight into a race and not have to mess with the settings ingame

RBRPro has a nice launcher, but they are too greedy

At least we have options from which to choose. And that's cool. There is also the opportunity to make your own version.

@@imagineracer Suprised Pikachu Face, I’ve heard about it plenty of time but I just assumed it would be a hassle with emulators and everything and you’re telling me it’s still supported and it’s free?

​@@privatesgooglekonto7638No emulators required as it was released for PC alongside consoles. Also, almost noone runs vanilla RBR anymore and most videos you see are being run with community-made plugins. They either go with the Hungarian RallySimFans plugin, or some other versions of it.

@@privatesgooglekonto7638 it is supported by hungarian community, it has continuous physics updates, periodically added cars and stages and other stuff. It is free indeed and has the best driving model in all rally games.

You go to the website - rallysimfans.hu/ (then you click download: Rallysimfans_Installer) 2. Go to the download page, download the torrent and wait for the complete installation (there are about 25 gigabytes) 3. Download the installer from the website - RSF INSTALLER APP (3.61Mb) P.S. I recommend choosing the full installation (you will get about 500 stages, half of which are of a very decent level). If there are more similar requests, I will make a detailed installation video.

You need the installer and the torrent files. Open the installer and choose the torrent files folder so it can install everything. Make sure to check all the boxes that you're interested like FMOD, visual mods, tracks etc

@@imagineracer Tell me a friend. Do you need the original game installed to install all this? Yesterday, when installing to a new empty disk D, gave out a bunch of errors and underloaded files. Or is it just a separate game?

@@tommi555wrc When you launch the installer, you are offered a choice: install the game completely or update an already installed one. If the game has already been installed, then you need to specify the path (in the installer) to the folder where the game is located. Also in the installer you need to specify the path to the files that you downloaded using a torrent. "Do you need the original game installed to install all this?" if you choose to update, then of course you need to have the installed version of the game. If the game has not been installed, then select the full installation in the installer and that’s it. The full version of the game takes about 115 GB.

@@imagineracer Thank you. Yes, I installed everything completely. But during the installation process, there are about 50-100 notifications that some files and dozens of tracks have not been found. About 120GB has been installed and the game does not start. I'll try again today.

@@imagineracer this is a fresh install on a new PC , I never knew about the camera until I saw it on youtube a few weeks ago. Maybe I should uninstall and do a fresh install?

I wish I could help you, man. All these plugins are installed by default, so in theory everything should work. The only thing is, check if you have plugins enabled in the launcher: RSF Launcher >> ADVANCED >> Plugins Here, except for the very first one (GaugerPlugin), all the others should be enabled.

You need to install the pacenotes plugin (yes, it sounds weird but the camera menu is part of it)

I'm sorry, but it’s unlikely that anyone is gonna be able to remotely understand the reason for the problems with installing or launching the game. There is a guide in PDF on this page - rallysimfans.hu/rbr/download.php?download=rsfrbr Here are quotes from there: 1) RBR doesn't launch at all By RBR not launching at all, we mean that absolutely nothing happens (not even an error message) when you try to run the game either via RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe or Start Game in RBRCIT. In RSRBR, RSCenter would do its usual preparations before running the game but eventually it just stops loading and then nothing. Now, unless you've knowingly turned off UAC (= User Account Control), safe to say the main culprit in about 95% of cases would be Data Execution Prevention ("DEP" to friends). (A clean, unmodded game would never have this problem, it's only after you start installing plugins or mods on top of it and Windows realises that the game has been tampered somehow and is keen to overprotect you. Worth noting that this behaviour is largely inconsistent, and can also crop up when you least expect it.) Anyway, on with the solution: RBR/RBRTM/RSF: Run RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe as an administrator + add it as an exception in Data Execution Prevention settings. RSRBR: You need to run exe-files like RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe as an administrator + add them as exceptions in Data Execution Prevention settings. IMPORTANT! In a 64-bit Windows, do not add 7z.exe to the exceptions. How to run as admin: Right click on .exe (File Type: Application) → Properties → Compatibility tab → Check Run this program as an administrator → Apply. The DEP settings: Type sysdm.cpl (.cpl refers to Control Panel) in the Windows search box and run it → On the Advanced tab go to Performance settings → Data Execution Prevention tab (check Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select and add RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe to the list.) Note! You shouldn't have to restart your computer for these changes to take effect, but you may have to do just that, so do not dismiss these solutions too quickly in case nothing seems to improve at first try. 2) RBR crashes on launch RBR crashing on launch but before the profile selection (usually with the RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe has stopped working or Visual C++ Run-time Library error message) is obviously a more complex matter as it can so easily be just about anything but a DEP related issue - although it's not totally out of the question (an error message doesn't necessarily eliminate this possibility). However, you should still primarily focus on other possibilities like a plugin (the likeliest culprit) or a mod you may have installed a minute ago. Like if you do suspect a plugin, it should be easy to test. Just disable it in one way or another (renaming the main file from *.dll → *.no is the easiest method) and run the game again to see what happens. Depending on a plugin, it could be a simple case of missing files in its own subfolder and reinstalling it may magically fix the issue (although if this was true, you really should consider changing or at least updating your archiver). If the issue persists after reinstallation or two, then it may be wise to begin eliminating a potential DEP issue next. None of this probably helped you in any meaningful way and it wasn't meant to, let's get that right, as this is one of those issues where all we can really say is "good luck!".

@@spookytkidDownload the torrent with the RBR content for installation and run the installer. Next, you will be offered options on what to do next. And there are options: update to the latest version, full installation, or you can manually select which components you need.
