Hello Anna and everyone reading this comment. I just wanted to give you the great news that I passed my Competency Assesment. I took your advice and did it online. I would recommend it to anyone who is having trouble finding a supervisor for their assesment. Now my question is this Anna. My supervisor told me that I could look for agency's that are willing to hire me even though I have not done my board exam. Thoughts? Thanks you for all your help.
You could. I suggest you have it done before looking for a job. That way no agency will have anything told hold over you when it comes down to negotiating your hourly rate! Hope that makes sense. Congratulations on passing your competency. I wish you the best of luck on your exam. 😊
@@ABASource Thank you!!! I decided to just take the exam. Every BACB told me the same thing, finish your exam first lol. I submitted my application to the BACB a few days ago. Now I just need to wait and schedule a date for the exam. Would you recommend any online RBT mock exams? Thanks again 😊

I passed by exam two Months ago . It’s been so difficult with Covid down here in Florida . Everyone asks if I have any type of experience ? Um no . I do have a medical background . I do work with a client who has disabilities but not behavior . Dislike when a company won’t give a chance . How can you gain knowledge or experience with no one allowing you ? Staying positive though . Btw love the videos . Helped me with my exam !
I’m sorry to hear this has been your experience. Please do stay positive as there are definitely agencies that give people new to the field a chance, especially those who’ve had experience with differently abled children. Keep your head up and keep pushing, you only need one yes ❤️

I have to take my Compt this coming Tuesday and I’m extremely nervous . The Patient that I’m competing with is extremely non compliance, and he loses attention very fast . Like 10 secs fast . Any advice ? I really wanna pass

Black girls wear white girl wigs and we don’t say anything about. People can braid their hair if they want ! I’m white and I braid my hair like this all the time :D
