Massive props to @Aptmusicuk @JohnPaulMusicUK for all their info on the board and making the Nux Bumblebee work with the RC-600. Link for spacers amzn.eu/d/aSPuwuK
Just saw this - Thanks man, was thinking I could sit a few set and forget (but maybe tweak) pedals under the back tier. I've already had to hack my way around.... So thanks for taking the stress for me!
I had the same issue with putting my Boss NS-2 underneath, so I could have more space up too for one more pedal. Otherwise it’s a great pedalboard. I think NUX should think about creating kits to customize your existing boards. Like expansions for wah pedals and such.
Looks like that worked out pretty well for you.I did the same thing, but put a Boss GX-100 on the top shelf.Fits in the bag too..Barely..I had a couple spare bars too.Traced out the sides on a peice of wood.Have to make a wood Bumblebee for my other pedals in the springtime.Had the RC-50 and 300.RC-600 is Amazing for what you can do and how you can set it up.👍
Nice one! Yeah this doesn't go anywhere as it's for my studio rig. It's a very epic piece of gear. Since this build I've not needed to switch anything around. I had some spare shelving parts too because I needed the space under the board
The Boss Graphic Equaliser is supposed to be on the bottom row closer to your foot. The area you tried to jam it in is usually meant for cables and a power supply. Maybe and "always on" mini pedal...that is it. The second higher tier has it's cables fed back around to the same area you were trying to put the Boss Equaliser......Not sure if that is "disappointing" as it is an area never meant for another full sized pedal. Cheers. Good Luck with your pedal board.
I don't think you understand the setup I've got going on here Al. Pedal boards are customisable because of different needs. I was disappointed because I wanted the EQ as a set and forget underneath and out of the way so I would have more space on top. I'm not sure why you would expect the EQ pedal to be at the front on the bottom? But I'd like to know what configuration you would have done instead?
@@DanielLeighMusic It's like you are blaming your glove box for not being able to store a spare tire. You could still put a "set it and forget it" EQ pedal there. But it might have to be the dimension's of an MXR 6 Band. I personally would never use the EQ pedal as "set it and forget it." Mid scoop, mid boost, add sparkle to an acoustic part, All fun option's. I hope that helps. Cheers.
@@algrundau9441 maybe you didn't understand why I was disappointed then. I purchased the board with the intent of putting it underneath. It arrived and it wasn't possible. So there is my disappointment. The measurements for the underside were not available but still, that is on me. As for the settings, I run my guitar through different pedals so it's not cut and dry.
@@DanielLeighMusic O.K...Well, I am sure you got at least some good use out of the Bumblebee....I usually just get a wooden shelf from the local hardware store. Woodgrain, White (great for dark stages) and even "concrete" and "black shale" finishes...Really cheap. I get those rubber pads you get for furniture for the bottom and just Velro or dual lock everything else. ....And then for a case I do the old Paul Gilbert trick and throw it in a Bass guitar case or even a gig bad depending where we are going.....easy peasy......Rock n Roll, Cheers.
It depends on what you mean by too much tbh dude. For me though it's not really a concern as this is a static rig that I have in my studio for livestreaming. My live rig is in a flight case to keep it safe in transit. I don't think that it is too heavy personally but it doesn't get moved often. Sorry I can't be more helpful
