This is the 4th instalment of the Axial XR10 build. In this video I put together the chassis, look at the electronics of the build, and give some helpful soldering tips! Enjoy!

that new punk dig switch is awesome! great idea on the deans plugs so I don't have to solder on the circuit board!....time for some internet shopping

@wirelesscps Yes the FXR combo comes not only with the capacitor but also the 5 wires MEDiC shows, fixings for the ESC, cable ties to tidy your instalation and instructions offering soldering tips also, and set-up information.

Man I want something to solder now *lol* I love that sound.. Sweet mod man that esc set up looks awesome and im gonna have to copy it . That new punk switch looks crazy.

thanks for the extra tips on soldering that really actually helped me out alot lol i been wanting to build a scale crawler but ive just kinda been terrified about the electrics i really dont have any idea where to even start on that note, but that did help out alot thank you great vid 5*

@SamuelFletcher I should be, think about it...ppl run a 35t on 3s in their ax-10 based rigs, so you can assume almost double torque provided by both motors. Should be just fine and the wheel speed should be crazy. Check out Brandon's xr-10. The thing jumps up the rocks at times. Absolutely rediculous!

LaCo is excellent flux, but it isn't an adhesive, it deoxidises the surface to be soldered and is heat activated ...also, clean the joint with a wet rag after, it's acidic!

When all is said and done you should tie all these videos together to make a 1 hour walk through on the build.

hi medic..i just order a xr10 and i was wondering what u suggest for esc and motor setup..don't know if i should go brushed or brushless..Ive had both in the past and i can say brushless is easier to service but its on the price side..what do u suggest and what brand..i mostly go with novak but im new to the crawler world..hope to hear from u..thanks
