Seems like the krakens tend to nose dive on jumps, causing it to flip end over, the losi 5ive seems better tuned handling jumps. Wonder what kind of tuning needs to be done to reduce the nose dive. A bit concerning considering I want to get a Vekta.

Nicely done, your mission is successful. My Monday has a 5th scale bash scheduled in it now - Wish it could be here, amazing venue - seems to have a real natural flow with long curves. The guy watching from his truck at 2:59 was getting a good view of the race! :) Awesome, Thanks man - I had a great father's day: sunshine, theme park with kids, and now some fresh petrol action to top it all off! Hope you had a good one too.

Silly question, these trucks appear to be set up for racing. Is there an option to include a tranny with reverse? Maybe there isn’t room for a third servo to shift the tranny, maybe these things make to much torque for a tranny in that size to survive? Just a thought. I am used to old skool 1/10 electric (think Associated RC10 with graphite chassis and “stealth” tranny vintage, I still have it BTW), so reverse is simple.

On a serious note, I saw few vids where you guys killed them on first run.. from shocks to control arms, rear axle.. I am in the market for a awd buggy or truck except losi 5t, it is just too large.. please recommend..

Good afternoon Medic and Everett. Thanks for getting me into 5th scale. Last week I bought a Kraken Vekta 5 which comes with a 32cc Zenoah engine. I was thinking of using the Vekta engine for my King Motor X2 Losi platform and using a more powerful engine for the Kraken Vekta 5. In your previous videos you used the Bartolone Vecta mod 32cc engine,however in your 2016 Big Dirty videos almost all of the Vekta 5 owners uses 34cc modified engines and carburetors from OBR. Question, what engines and size would you or Everett recommend for the Vekta 5 being so heavy?

Thank you RC Sparks for all your awesome videos. My first and only rc car is a Arrma Typhon 6SBLX and I have been racking my brain trying to decide which 5th scale to upgrade to. After watching almost all your videos and giving it alot of thought I have decided to go buy a Vekta 5 with the engine and a Futaba 4PV radio. I love all your guys videos and cant wait to rewatch them with my 3 year old son as we grow in the hobby together. I have laughed my ass off several times and learn alot. it's father's day in America? in Germany ist always 40 days after Easter Sunday and it's always on a Thursday( 25th may)! for a lot people it is good so they getting a longer weekend! here we drive with bikes drinking something and have fun! how it's over the big ocean???
