if I get that system do I need to change spur and pinion gear I know I'm going to need skid plates

I put on the T-bone racing front skid and basher bumper along with the rear skid wheelie bar for my 6s Emaxx. Man what a world of difference. If any of them break they are warranty.

BOOSTEDLASER personally would go with the arrma. Traxxas makes good stuff and all, but you're going to spend a lot of money on broken parts. They're not the toughest stock trucks out there. But, being a traxxas, there is no shortage of aftermarket parts available. Arrma has been coming out with a lot of kick ass trucks lately, they've really stepped their game up. So like I said, I would go with the arrma, but that's just me. Do your research on both and I'm sure you'll be able to pick one over the other. Hope this helped!

I had the original E-Max years ago. I prefer the Hpi savage xl flux when it comes to 1/8 scale monster trucks. I like the Losi lst platform also. But when it comes to Traxxas I enjoy both the XO-1 for seed runs and the X Maxx 8s for their best and most durable monster truck so far.

Shit im not working Ricky I can't buy it right now...... I took my Revo out for a spin today had a few good runs. Hit about 45-55 on average. Hard getting 60 and up man. I know my Revo will do 65-72 no prob but I don't have a wheelie bar. I ordered a bunch of parts I haven't even been able to pick up yet lol. Sucks

I was told to lower the suspension man. I've had a lot of suggestions and yes my suspension is stock out the box. Not the long travel rocker set but the one for speed with the lower center of gravity. I keep flipping it at around 50-55 maybe 60 lol. But yeah I'm new to altering the suspension n all. I normally go the hobby shop to have things changed man but your idea sounds terrific. Eventually I wanna hit 75-95 or more with my e Revo so I know for a fact I will need aftermarket tires cause these stock talons have balded up on the back on the left n right sides..... It's crazy the power this truck has. Mamba monster 2 system on 6S lol. I'm geared 26 pinion 54 spur ATM. Looking to increase within the next few months. Going to invest in some rpm parts shortly and do some of the mods you told me about. Also gotta upgrade my rustler vxl with some more rpm including aluminum shocks. I wanna switch up these stock ones for some more durability. I'm deffinate going to be purchasing an emacs along with a slash 4x4 and also at some point I'm going to get the X0-1. Gotta own atleast 3-5 more RC cars in my arsenal. Living at home with the folks but still wanting to make it happen lol !. Right on Ricky... Ricky Revo Ok, well me and I imagine, today, a relatively small e/t maxx owners group out there, are going to upgrade the bulkheads and a arms to rpm ones. I haven’t done the shock towers yet, so far they’re holding up.

Ricky Revo RC I think red cat are decent but never got one!! but they seems to be well constructed. For me is frustrating that I need to upgrade a car to actually be decent and on top of that the car is expensive!! I dont mean servos or bearings but CVD's?? A arms? tires?chassis? not for me.
