Absolute mind blowing. How its possible that no shops offers this vtol beauty for sale. Im totally in love with this model. . Friend, Do you know where I could get something similar to this piece of art?
I'll scroll through and try to find in comments now and the other videos too but can anyone tell me what this model is who makes it? Looks custom but I've found similar online with the cut out for forward fan. Thank you and AWESOME!!!
Even an "ordinary" RC model shows how perfect a piece of engineering this plane is. How perfectly invented and practically how efficient this aircraft can be. Practically, you can fly from anywhere even from the supermarket parking lot, so you don't need an airport. This plane can hides anywhere. And from the RC perspective, VTOL reduces the risk of landing damage.
Practically? You mean theoretically right? F35-B is not a VTOL. Its not designed to takeoff vertically. Its too heavy. And its not efficient thing to land or take off vertically. It consumes the fuel hell alot. X35 (prototype of F35) tried vertical takeoff (probably without carrying any load and low on fuel to stay lightweight) and managed to reach supersonic speeds. Then had to immediately land because taking off consumed significant portion of its somewhat empty fuel tank. There are better examples when it comes to VTOL. F35 is not designed for that purpose.
Yes this design if accepted by the DOD, will save the US billions since the pilot is remaining ground and this one can actually maneuver. However you have to design very very small missiles.
As a rule I only ever & always give thumbs down to clips where there's some whiny little b*tch complaining about them in the comments section. You do it to yourself, really.
Very nice. However, the transition phase between hover and fwd flight seems to need some work. You may be able to program a set of inputs that gives you a clean transition every time. Cheating maybe but would probably work well.
The transition of VTOL to horz. flight should be smooth and well balanced or you get caught by that descent. Unless you are planning to put a parachute :P... But, good work!
Even better than a real one, it not only land vertical, but it’s also able to lift up like this, as for a real F-35 still need a little strech to take flight. 👍👍
I am in absolute awe. The real F35 uses wads of computing power and dozens of sensors and servos to transition between flight modes. You do it with joy sticks. I predict you will do well in the professional arena.
That is awesome!! Build from a kit, plans, or your own design. Also I see two edf units and that will work to control pitch in hover mode, how do you control roll in hover mode?? I'm guessing you re route some of the edf thrust to each side and control roll in that Manner. Really curious, I think re routing the thrust is got to be how it's done just let me know, also if it's a kit or own design. Thanks for video and that is an awesome build and great accomplishment, picked up a subscriber here, go ahead and subscribe mine too if you can, I would greatly appreciate it.
hi, because you have a ton of turds out there that cannot stand it that people are smarter than they are and try to ruin it for others! I met a ton of them crybaby whiners in this wonderful hobby! awesome work this fellow did to achieve this***** Gary Troutman (Gary Flymore)
