Having fun with a few RC cars I've built on this channel. We captured some nice slow motion shots of the cars kicking up some dust! While I think a bit of tuning and further testing is required to real get the suspensions set up more like the real thing, it was still a lot of fun to look back at this footage. Thanks for watching everyone! Assuming more than 5 people watch this, I'd like to work on the suspension on both the Z28 and GT500, then do a follow up to see how much I can improve realism of the suspension. Actually I'll do it even if no one watches! This was too much fun. 😆

It would be cool if you could paint some match box striker powder on the tires. If they have even friction it would smoke and look like a burnout

Dude! Has that been done, or this there like a tutorial somewhere with info!? I don't care if it burns the car down (as long as it was recorded lol), that would be too cool. 😆

@@MakeItRC I just randomly thought of it. Ik you could shave the striker into a powder and if you rub the powder in between your fingers it’ll create smoke. Might be worth testing

@@MakeItRC look up something like this, well in might work, SXT Smoke Tire Break in Comp 4oz Bottle, i dont know if it will work on plastic wheels , you may be able to look up more info on it. just a thought.

Ive had a 1/24 mad max interceptor for a long time. Out of 100s of plastic models, I think i have to say its still my favorite, its not the most detailed engine/drivetrain wise, so it would probably be pretty easy.

I think eventually we will have overpowered 20S RC running solid grooved rubber wheels (no foam) to get the full smoke and slide experience. Currently I run drift wheels on dirty carpet to get the rooster tails 😂 Helps vacuuming I must say

Sway bars work wonders last I checked and maybe tinker around with weight around that torque twist

I was just thinking that Ali Express has a lot of rc vehicles with vaporizers. You know the ones where you put water in and vapor comes out. Maybe you could harvest one off of a cheap car and get the smoke effect you're looking for. First time watching your channel. Cool vid.

You should use flour or baby powder. Something dusty. . I used to work in a warehouse with a really dusty floor and I'd take my rc for a rip on my lunch break. It looked cool.

Great video and driving of the Camaro and Mustang 👍👍 I've noticed that the rear suspension is way too soft and bouncy!! This greatly effects the handling! I would upgrade it with some oil filled shocks, at least in the rear. The front steering needs a little redesign as well, because it's kinda limited!

Only scale thing that would be cool to fix would be how the body twists. Should pick up the drivers wheel instead. Still super cool

Thanks, it certainly is fun! Glad you're excited for the Mustang chassis', I am as well. Right now our soon to be released semi truck chassis is our main focus, followed closely by just keeping our current Camaro and Corvette chassis kits in stock. 😆 That said the Mustang kits are in the queue. Can't say for certain when we'll have everything ready but hopefully sooner than later. As for what specific kits it will fit, I'm not sure exactly at this time, but of course there will be much more info in the future. 👍

I seen a short last week that showed how they test scale cargo ships it explained in slow motion its actually more true to the scale worth having a look you can tune the slow motion to be exact to the scale model your using

It appears to me the torque of the motor pulls one wheel off the ground on the front. This will cause uneven loading on the rear axle. The solution... I rigid chassis and then fine-tune the suspension. Personally... I like the way they look in slow motion.

I hate to say it, but with the farming market over in Europe.Your little kits might actually make huge sales over there. Look up scale farming. 2000s pick ups are cheaper imagine that with a couple of hay bails in the back, or a transfer tank.

Have you considered doing a diecast metal model? I just found a 250 Ferrari by Burago that I started 40 years ago and thought, this would make for a nice r/c conversion! They'd have the extra weight to keep all the wheels on the ground and that extra momentum as well.

I have. The problem is that the weight of the diecast bodies results in poor performance with more stress on the chassis and motor. I'm sure it's possible, but these RC chassis I'm using are probably not suitable.

its way more scale looking having those rwd kits kick out when burning out. The real cars get that same torque twist that causes that. i say don't change the suspension.
