Beautiful model, nice bright lighting, the only thing i don't see right is the angle of the tail, not scale as it looks that tail is bent downward. other than that nice flying, nice colors, very balanced, it would be perfect if it wasn't for the tail that get's me crosseyed. Good work.
Being a Mikado mechanics why even buy a Funkey body . A lot of money and it is not even scale . For a little bit more money i would have bought a Vario heli or a old Kavan so the tail rotor would be on the correct side . Then there is the stupid switch on the side . To me this is just a fun scale heli at a high cost . I do like the Kavan Jet Ranger fuse better and it is a bit more scale than this . I am converting my Kavan Jet Ranger into all electric modifying what I have to work with . I would love to find a flat bed mechanics for it where the servos , motor is all at the top of the heli . That way I can have full interior .
how did you get the light on the vertical part of the tail without showing wires? i'm building one with a body by funky and a thunder tiger air frame. awesome job on the video and helicopter
Very nice one! How did you manage to drill the hole for led cables in the rear vertical fin? I have .50 size exact fuselage and I'm wondering how to drill and put cables inside the fin.
Hello Robert, the vertical fin is nearly hollow. I took a 3W emitter-led, soldered the cables and drilled left and right on top of the fin. A bit tricky, but just do it! Here is the full story of building it and you can see some pictures: www.vstabi.info/forum/read.php?10,101841 Stefan
@@onedisser Hello Stefan, thank you for advice and good news about a hollow type of vertical fin! I'll surely study your build that you linked. If you don't mind, could we contact on Messenger? I'm on begining of my build so having your contact would be blessing in case I get to the wall at some point. You could find me on Messenger under the same name and last name as on YT. I could not find you, though. Again, thanks for your reply!
onedisser Hello skinny3715, these tailrotor-blades are manufactured by kbdd in different colours. I produced the black-white scheme by using black blades and white adhesive foil for a plotter. For example: www.rcheli-store.de/Rotorblaetter-Propeller/Heckrotorblaetter/KBDD-Heckrotorblaetter-96-mm-schwarz-z-B-Logo-600-T-Rex-600.htm?shop=rcheli&SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=MTT-KB4075&t=11&c=57&p=57
onedisser Hello Skinny3715, take a look at this - there are a lot of informations building this scaler-heli: www.vstabi.info/forum/read.php?10,101841On top of the tail fin iIt’s an Emcotec 3Watt LED-Beacon. Take a scalpel, cut the red cap from the vertical fin and glue this cap on top of the 3Watt-Beacon. Glue the whole Beacon (cap plus Beacon) on top of the fin. The plus and minus-pins are bent downwards and the small electric cables are soldered on.www.vstabi.info/forum/file.ph p?10,file=15225The vertical fin is hollow, so you can drill and mill two little holes to put the plus and minus-cable from the LED downward towards the tail-fuselage. www.vstabi.info/forum/file.php?10,file=15217
Hello Roberto, a description is given at the end of the video. It’s a 50 (600) size Fun-Key fuselage like this fun-key.com.hk/productshow.asp?showid=141 Here is the full story of building it: www.vstabi.info/forum/read.php?10,101841
