You would be forgiven for thinking this was a real 109, as it was flown so well and with no twitchiness that you see in some models. It sounded great on flypast too 😊😊

_Thank you for the compliment._ Well ... the additional shotgun microphone was quite expensive and therefore it should pay back with a high quality of audio.
Everyone has their own taste for what they like to see in a flight. I love this one. Smooth, great landing, and the whole flight it looked like a pilot could actually be in there! Excellent aircraft
Hadn't heard of this Valack engine before - sound is great and a bit like a Kolm. Fabulous model and very nice smooth flight to watch. Another super video Horst :)
Love it , love it , love it Need I say more ??? Ok Stuka and 109 two of my all time favorite planes !! Very nice flying !!!!! Your very good !!! Working Retracts !!! Joe ..
A very nice demonstration ! That engine is set up really well, running at low revs quite happily, and it sounds very nice altogether a very enjoyable video, many thanks for posting.

You have very well-produced videos - excellent look and sound. I, too, love to take videos of RC flight. I want to upgrade the microphone that I use. What make and model do you use? Are you happy with it? THANKS!

European RC warbird pilots have two distinct stereotypes. They fly at least without footwear (sometimes without shirts) and they have to takeoff looking straight up the rear of the fuselage.
Very well coordinated, like a pilot was in the airplane. Like the sound but sounded more like a single than a twin. What's the firing order, is it a 180* or 360* crankshaft..?
@@shelbyseelbach9568 Firing order in crankshaft degrees was what I was referring to. The degrees of the crank throw orientation will determine the sound - a 180* crank will have quite a different sound than a 360* (alternate firing) one or one set up with 270* throws which would sound like a V-twin motorcycle or industrial engine. There is also the possibility that there could be both cylinders firing at the same time with 360* orientation but that seems illogical though it did sound a bit like a single cylinder to me.
@@whalesong999 oh, firing order is usually used to denote the order in which cylinders fire, not degrees of rotation of crankshaft between ignition events. Have never heard it used for that.
@@whalesong999 the video description says INLINE two cylinder, so it's either 180 or 360, as ignition events are evenly spaced between rotation and number of cylinders to keep the vibrations induced to a minimum.
@@whalesong999 i would hazard a guess that an inline, two cylinder, four stroke motor would fire one cylinder and then after 360 degrees of crankshaft rotation it would fire two cylinder. 360 degrees after two fires, one will be at the top of a compression stroke again and ready to fire. So, the firing order would be 1, 2, 1, 2. The degrees of crankshaft rotation between ignition events would be 360. The only other way is to fire both cylinders simultaneously, on an inline four stroke engine, this would be very problematic. It would cause very intense vibrations.
look at 22 The owner is standing on the stabilizer. The aircraft is at an angle but using the human as a scale it's easy to see the aircraft is about a foot longer than the human is high. That's about 7'. The BF-109 was only about 29' long. So, the scale is correct. It's 1/4.
@@shelbyseelbach9568 *Thank you!!!* 👍 _I should mention that at the beginning of every single video._ It's kind of funny that many people are always looking for mistakes so they have something to criticize.
@@RCScaleAirplanes yes, i see this question in the comment section of any video you do of a german scale ww2 plane. At least this guy didn't get all triggered about it like theyusually do. Fantastic plane, fantastic video (as usual), by the way.

@@warp65 Yeah, I just noticed that. It's a bit of tailwind on him, but not much. The windsock indicated that it was mainly a crosswind perpendicular to the runway so it probably didn't matter much to him. Landing it in the other circuit direction would have been better off if I had to guess having a bit of a headwind on him.
