Welcome back to the channel!
We get our favourite RC Noob to test out the FTX Zorro and give us his opinion on how it performs and if its actually a good beginner RC for someone who is looking at getting into the RC hobby.

So what do you make of the FTX Zorro?
I tested it after Alex and have to say i was surprised how good it actually is especially for the money!
If you are looking for a 1/10 off road basher i really do think this could be the one!

Hope you enjoyed seeing the FTX Zorro in action! Was a lot of fun making this video and was all just a bit of fun and a way for the RC NOOB to make his return! On the next video you will see the New FMS Rochhobby Toyota Land Cruiser 1/18 Scale Truck (Katana v2) It looks like i could be the best scale crawler of 2021 so stay tuned! Perfect timing with this video. My son wants a short course/ trophy truck. I've been looking at higher end cars, like the Senton, but this could be a great platform to upgrade from. I look forward to see what the car goes like with a brushless system in it. Do you plan any other upgrades to it? Suspension, etc? Loved the video. 👍🏻

Cheers Rob! Will be doing a brushless conversion more than likely next week as i have the 104001 to do as well yet! I really do think it will be great brushless and with a much better servo the stock one just doesn't feel very responsive! Will more than likely do more to it but lets get it brushless first! 😀👍

@@lashwa086 he's got a brushed Zorro, with a brushless system in it. It's probably a bit too high KV, but it goes like stink. He's got great hand eye coordination, so he's good at controlling it. I got a brushless Zorro roller, that's now got a Hobbywing Max10 system, and that's awesome!! 👍🏻

Great vid Ricky, I was close to getting a Ftx but went for the Flux. Really loved the comic spin, not often you see channels go out their comfort zones 🤣

I've got a Ftx Outlaw and the underneath is very very similar to the Outlaw but obviously better looking and looks stronger but my Outlaw broke alot 😢 very nice info and a great test Basharoo 😀 , give Alex a trophy for burning his fingers🏆 great video 👍

Bro this truck is awesome for the money, I have upgraded mine to brushless,,they can take a beating nice to see them getting reviews on popular channels,,,have a look at my zorro vids,,they jump good aswell,,such a underating truck, bro 👍 oh brushed motor dos not run to well with lipo,,as in burns out,,apart from that their good,,hellion rockrider chassis bro 👍

Another great video mate I really thought you was robbed for a minute, and Alex does make me laugh. The ftx zorro is great value for money .I've ordered the team associated mt10 rival from my local hobby shop,they should get one in for next week,so looking forward to that.

About to buy one of these so checking out a few vids. Well impressed with its specs and how it ran. At the price point as well I think you can not go wrong.. plus it's obviously a solid truck. Flat out into a 🌲🌲 and not a scratch lol.nice1.defo guna order one now

Hello mate I’ve got mines coming tomorrow , but I’m hearing that it roll too much , brushless 4400kv on tarmac is it going to be too much ?

It does have a lot of body roll. 4400kv on stock gearing may be little too much it runs a 23t pinion stock. I believe the 17t pinion and motor mount would be the better option if running a higher KV motor to prevent any cogging issues. But give it a go and see how it runs :)

Some places it's advertised as ftx torro not zorro and the box art is different do you know why that is.

Torro is the nitro version, Zorro is the electric

My lad has the ftx outlaw ...... exactly the same under the hood....... be warned you can’t just put any servo in this ...... majority of the cheap ones are too long and snag on the centre drive shaft ...... it’s a ball ache trying to find one

Am with you bro ,ive just said the same, they've upgraded to blue parts and a new style bumper, but defo a Outlaw revamped 👍 looks good though, might buy just the body and put it on my Brushless Outlaw. 👍😁👍
