I'm looking forward to checking this place out. I did a lot of hardwood oval floor racing back in the early 90's. There weren't grooved up like THAT though. Ha.
Love your videos almost done building my first race car in 22 years looking forward to getting back out in the track hopefully race against some of the guys and meet the oval rc keep up the good work
Awesome video. .Good to see Jon again, who needs tire prep, look at that groove! This track definitely is a bucket lister. Hope to see you guys in Jersey later this year, I definitely need more content, I’m getting itchy to run.
Are the brushed 12t motors harder on batteries? Because i race mudboss 13.5 cranked up to 58* of timing and i can make 100laps no prob! On a 5000 or 5800mah battery..
Nope. I did suggest that we run a 100 laps straight for our next 100 lap event. I’m running a 5200mah battery with a 23/90 gear set and seems to be good for at least a 100 laps.
@@BloodlineRC yes you should be good, except some of the guys running really old batteries might have a harder time but makes for an exciting race i like the suspense lolll
Laviolette Racing I agree. It would make for a neat challenge. I think 100 laps shouldn’t be hard on a 5200. I wouldn’t mind trying 125-150. Then strategy and gearing could make a difference. It was a fun race. Never did a 100 lapped before. But they are talking about having more of them. Someone even suggested a 1000 lap team race. That would be cool
We had a special event last year.. nobody knew what the race was going to be. I checked everyone in at 8.44 volts and we had a last man standing race. The winner went 360 laps till his battery died. So the cars will go 100 laps non stop with no issues but the 50 lap pit stop allowed guys to make changes to the car.. It was a fun day. Every class that day ran 100 laps with a half way break.
