Much respect for keeping it mt pure... I remember seeing too many 1/6 - 1/5 trucks that were basically big skateboards with a body mounted a foot above the chassis.
An absolute masterpiece model. I'm not really into RC monster trucks generally, but I definitely plan to own one of these once available. This thing is balls.
Hey Dan,absolutely love it,being a ram owner myself this gets my blood pumping, hope for a run video in the future, just the way your touching the parts you really get a sense of the size,WOW
Simply amazing. Now you just need to make some scale cars to crush! Most of the folks posting negative comments are missing the entire purpose of this vehicle.
@@Smodlee you have to understand 2699.00 is not a lot of money to some people you buy what you want and get what you pay for. Some of us have purchased 2000.00 plus rc max and alx engines so think about it if we are willing to drop that kind of cash on a engine then adding just a few hundred for a bad ass platform is well worth it. This is a way of life for me I don't go out to bars I no longer wast thousands into cars because I have taken a loss for all of that but this rc shit I love and I still haven't loss track on what I have purchased because it's right in front of my eyes as long as I take care of business at home I'm going to make it happen on what I want but first let the drag racing begin!
How is this considered a 1/5th scale? This thing looks down on a Losi MTXL. Dan your like an Elon Musk of the RC world. You're quite a human being. Dont let the haters get you down saying this and that. Someone's always gonna pick out a flaw about something. This is pure awesome and a game changer. You do great work. Cant wait to see this next to my Losi 1/36 scale Raminator
Thank you for the kind words. I focus on all the amazing feedback that I got since our launch. I welcome constructive criticism because I continue to make it better. But it is difficult to explain to people what this truck is and to really understand the strength of it. Until the people who criticize see it in person, no amount of words will convince them.
Ha ha hello brother hows this BEAST! Hoping arrma come out with a 1/5 scale to compete with the xmaxx! That would be orsum! Your a good man Chris! See ya again soon! 🤝
@@baddazzgarage2953 lol!!! Hey I actually just picked up my first 6s truck!!! A v4 kraton!! God I was blown away opening it up and just how impressive an rc it is! Feels like my first legit hobby grade rc! I have the jlb cheetah and dhk maximus and a couple 3s arrmas the granite and typhon but this 6s Keaton is in another ball park! I'm sure that now that we ran into each other we will see each other all the time now! I'm glad I seen ya bud. You're a good guy too Glenn! I knew it when I watched and subbed your channel! Cheers my friend!
This thing is super bad ass thanks for this video !! The only vehicle even close was long dead NEW ERA models LiL Foot and it still cost WAY more and did not have alot of features you put into this ! I definitely want to get a set of those tires and rims for my current 1/5 oddball Monster maybe next year save my pennies and get the full truck ass well....
the brakes on the driveshaft is a GREAT idea! much better than at the clutch and much easier to service and you can make it proportional with each brake servo on its own channel and with channel mixing
Simply AMAZING! Its beautiful just to look at. I would definitely luv one..but i would have to sell everything RC that i currently own...thx for sharing
It’s on the must have list for sure. I like my X-Maxx but this is sick! I want to build a rock bouncer out of one. And I just have to laugh at all the haters out there hahaha
Nice truck finally an actual monster truck great idea with the pocketbike engine they are highly upgradeable bore kits etc and not even half the price of some brands
Easily the best monster truck I’ve ever seen!!!! By a loooooooooooong way!!!!! Sublime work and attention to detail but also durability Kindest regards Dean Wales, UK
Really nice, a lot of potential. Just being the first 5th scale with a solid front axle is great. I would really want one, but I spent about 3k on my TLR 5B last year and thought I should take it easy this year so the lady of the house don't detonate. I would love to have that truck, I have some plans for it already to build something awesome 5th scale off road machine that can't be built without a solid front axle.. So I guess I need to start saving some money again then.
The bed of my truck was looking a little empty when I was towing my Can-Am Maverick X3 I was thinking of putting a four-wheeler in the bed but they're running $15,000 this year I think this would be a better option.you got my business. 👍
That truck in low gear looks awesome and has a nice exhaust note.. $2,600 is a very good price for this amount of engineering.. my 7075 UE SuperMaxx cost that much
Awesome man can’t wait to see the production model, over here in Australia I think it will be really popular, great job man hope to see more of it soon 👍
Wow I mean just wow at is just awesome what one real bad, I have to save up might be a while appreciate you sharing Great job on this monster truck i'll watch for more
When i was younger i thought same alot guys 3g is nothing doing what you love my atvs sitting bc we live on a island i cant afford 40k rig take them out the state for the day lol

Who's going to be the first to drop a 80cc yz motor in this bad boy 8-) brings back memorries of my racing days at the MX track.. AH the smell of 2 stroke 8-)
I had an 1981 yz 80! It was an orsum bike my mates had an rm 80 and a kx80 and a cr 80 we had a ball used to ride then behind a football field near our house! Just had to be careful with cops as we didn't like pushing them 3 km to the track!! Absolutely put an 80cc in this truck it would be heaven with a remote!!👍
I hope you can take criticism the good feature is it's built beautiful and very solid with fantastic upgrades and looks fantastic. The bad then engine is definitely a let down it's big and slow and even if you were to put say a rcmax 90cc in it I think it would be to hard to handle and u would just keep rolling it as the truck stands very high overall it's a great looking truck Great parts and strong but I wouldn't buy it for racing at the track or bashing for speed with your mates the only thing I think this truck is good for is for rockcrawling but just depends on if you wanna spend that sort of money to climb over a few rocks that's just my honest opinion I maybe wrong but I'm only giving my opinion as I have alot of years experience driving rcs but congratulations primal rc it is a nice build and the first if it's kind well done guys
I welcome constructive criticism! I drives me to make the truck better. You have to understand that this was built to model a monster truck. It drives and handles like a monster truck. It includes 5 gear ratios that are interchangeable. So you can change it up as you see fit. This truck is built at the quality of a real car, it can handle an engine that is much bigger than the 49cc pocket bike that is in there. And the servo saver on steroids from the two insane servos will handle the steering... And the disk brakes on the drive train will stop it on a dime. And if you think we are going to release a truck that weighs 80lb that drives over 40 mph, well you have never run a business before. Keep an open mind. See this truck in person, drive it, then make your critique. I welcome it!
@@PrimalRC no I run an rc business and yes I understand the consequences of an 80pounds hitting you at high speed lol that is why you went with that engine liability is a big issue I think it's a beautiful build as close as u can get to a real monster truck and I congratulate you on an awesome job.but like I said in the previous comment was just letting buyers aware what it's built for As people will buy it for the wrong reasons and will be let down as its not for racing or high speed bashing it's a monster truck made for rockcrawling and jumping that's it. But fantastic job excited to see what primal rc comes up with next cheers
Congrats and good luck! I believe I could get about 4 per order customers from our shop,..! A lot of Big spénders, with big interests! Lol . I need to show the Generals and get in touch with you. I could really dig doing a monster mamba conversion !.. Till then..✌
scale blown v8 and some planetary gears for the wheels and this would be 100% perfect! But with planetary gears in the wheels with that engine would make it stupid insane and able to pull anything.... But as is. This thing is already amazing! Shall wait for the next project of yours!
Why no limiting straps? With tires and axles that look to be very heavy that’s a lot of weight to be hanging from just the 4 shocks. I would want them for sure, please include them in your aftermarket support if your not Going to include them.
