I have a V1 MT with the Taylor RC 80 Supreme in it,they are totally insane. The only real issues with them are the stock electronics to include the wiring harness. If you are jumping it and land on power be prepared to get intimate with the transmission as you will be replacing output shafts often.
Yeah that's what she said its big! I bet you wanna ram that raminator, LOL! The XRT ain't small either. Its just that Raminator is just overkill big and heavy you would have to put this thing in a trailer everywhere you travel and probably expensive as well. If you build r/c car that big you might as will build a real full size car add a receiver and transmitter and call it a day.
Mate, you stating that Kat talked you into it... Thats wife material haha! I have the Taylor 50GT in my V1 Ram and looooooove it. I'm also still on the original servos. I enjoyed watching this clip. We need more videos on the Raminator and overall more Primal MT clips. Make sure to locktite all the bells and whistles... My first 2 runs I had to stop due to the Taylor vibrating everything loose. Also leave the red locktite for at least the 24hr to cure... I waiting less than the full 24hr and it didn't work. Taylor engines are a work of art. Have fun, Cheers guys
Where did you guys go? Yesterday when I visited Hobby Town in Sanford, the sign announced new management. My XRT needs parts, please! A lot of success to you two.
Brake servo is a reverse servo. The guy put a standard in. I have a Grave Digger #144. Lose the Taylor engine and go with the Fine Design V3 500kv setup. That what I have now. Soon it will be a Johnny Crash Max4/560kv. Then the brake servo gets tossed.
